Ok, so I am a first time poster and just wanted to come here to say that TRP has totally changed my outlook on many things. Where was this when I was 15 -30 and really needed it? I was/am the poster boy for blue pill. Always the nice guy in every situation in life. I would let anyone walk all over me and you could not convince me to act otherwise. I always thought I was doing the noble thing in relationships and anything else to be the one who was walked on. Fast forward several years down the road, found myself bitter, depressed, confused, frustrated, on anti anxiety/anti depression medication. I have been this way for a long time and never understood why. When I first started learning TRP stuff (3 or 4 months ago) it was mildly interesting. As the days go by, memories of different bad and depressing situations come back and more and more they are making sense through the red pill filter. Everything makes sense now, which is awesome on one hand, feels like a switch has gone off. The problem is is that I am pretty bitter for either not having seen it sooner, not having someone to throw me a bone and teach me this, or not getting a clue myself. It's almost as if I want to live my life over. I used to think that if I had it to do over I wouldn't know what to do any differently. That's how frustrated and confused I was. Now I see TONS of things I would do better. I'm in a LTR with someone who has little or no respect for me (she has come right out and said it multiple times) but now I can see that that is mostly my doing. So... Looking for any advice. How do you turn back when you've made yourself a world based on the blue pill?
