Body: Let's open with openers. You can go for a straight intro (I'm not a fan of these, feels like an interview) or the situational (lot's of success with this). The situational ones point out something funny, makes an assumption about her, or is just something you two have in common.

  • "Jeez the lines in this place" (anywhere you have to wait)
  • "Looking sharp, what's the occasion?" (If she seems glammed up)
  • "So you're a star student aren't you?" (I used this on a girl when I saw she got a 10/10 on her quiz)
  • "You, don't look like you're from here" (My friend uses this one, but he's a natural so idk if you want to use this).

So now that you've opened, you need to keep the conversation going. Natural conversations have pauses, and they are fine, but if the pause goes for longer than 10 seconds you're fucked. Now it's awkward and she feels you're awkward. What you make her feel is how you're perceived.

For keeping the conversation going, just listen. She's giving you material to work off of by talking, all you gotta do is make sure you're not daydreaming like a buffoon.

  • You: Hey what's up
  • Girl: Oh just got back from class
  • You: Do you like the class?
  • Girl: It's alright. (Uh oh no material)
  • You: Is the professor any good?
  • Girl: No (No material again, gotta make something up)
  • You: One of my professors for Psych, threw a marker at a kid once (complete lie)
  • Girl: Omg no way
  • You: Yeah he's got tenure so he doesn't give a fuck
  • Girl: Haha, so ...

You get the idea. If she's not giving you any material in the beginning, you'll have to make some up. If she's still a complete ice queen 10 min into the conversation, you might as well grab her number and leave.

Search for common bases to talk about, things she likes, what she does for fun. Keep yourself somewhat mysterious, you should end up learning more about her than she does about you.

If she's giving you material, laughing, and talking that's great, all good signs. Once she starts getting really into it, leave on the high note and get her number. Don't push your luck. She may receive all your jokes well, but they will start to deteriorate in quality so you might as well cash in once you get a good response.

  • her: "Yeah! I have 2 dogs and a cat!"
