speaking as a good looking guy that isn't socially dominant; women will want/expect you to fight for the top of the pecking order. And when you don't, not only will you become completely neutral to them, some will even resent you for it.

I can tell you that social proof has been the difference between sitting on the sidelines of a party and having groups of women cold approach me.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 13 years ago* (19 children) | Copy Link

Social proof makes a world of difference, I agree ~

And that's part of the point I'm making with this article. Basically, "pecking order" is determined by testosterone levels, which can be manipulated and maxed out with good health and nutrition. So there is a link between social proof, and health. There are certaintly other things you can do to raise social proof, but research points towards testosterone levels determining what position you end up in.

There are also social proofing techniques, but of course, they work best when delivered by a man with high T and in good health.

Ref: Testosterone And Dominance In Men

[–]OlearysCow -2 points-1 points0 points 13 years ago* (18 children) | Copy Link

testosterone isn't the only variable in where you stand on the pecking order. your social status and social intelligence are the 800 pound gorilla.

when given the choice between men with high T and and high cortisol and low T and low cortisol, women choose the latter.

edit: to elaborate

in primates the ones on the bottom of the pecking order have the highest cortisol levels, and the ones at the top have the lowest

T is a variable in how much time a man is going to spend jockeying for position, but if he doesn't have the requisite generalized and social intelligence he isn't going to make it to the top of the pecking order.

secondly women will mate with high T men if that's the best guy she can get. However high T men are more promiscuous and generally harder to live with. So if she can find an equal partner (looks, social status) with lower T (more cooperative, less likely to cheat) she's going to choose the later.

and third. T is A variable, but dopamine and seratonin and your bodies natural cortisol levels are going to play a very big roll. Your dopamine is what controls your sex drive, and high levels of T don't necessarily mean high dopamine (for example, guys that get addicted to porn will give themselves ED. Because even though they have normal or high T levels, they've flooded their brain with so much dopamine that they burn out their reward system. ) and a guy could have high T, but for whatever reason also have high cortisol for whatever reason. (anxiety disorder.)

tl;dr cortisol level's are the best shorthand indicator of a man's social status.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 13 years ago* (14 children) | Copy Link

However, past studies have often revealed that men with high testosterone levels are not automatically appealing to women, who view such testosterone-laden men as having long-term drawbacks. For instance, the macho guys may lead a "player's" lifestyle, or may also be bad parents.

Lol, maybe you should get some more cortisol research that isn't funded by the feminist movement as well.

Testosterone levels were not significantly linked with attractiveness, masculinity or health.

not significantly linked, meaning they were linked but the cortisol link was stronger.

It's funny because I'm basically agreeing with you here but for some reason you want to start a big war about a non-issue. Low cortisol levels and high T levels are both linked to good health and they both play a role in attraction. You and I both know showing a bunch of chicks pictures of guys, isn't the same as setting 50 guys and 50 girls loose in a room and letting them actually select a mate. Something tells me those low cortisol low T guys likely wouldn't be pulling much tail. The high T mid-high cortisol guys would be steam rolling them, and the high T low cortisol guys would basically be gods.

A few other things about this study I'd point out (not that I disagree with all of their results):

  • The sample size was very small.
  • They were only judging faces, women do judge male attractiveness beyond this.
  • Women tend to say they want one thing then go after something completely different, so relying on self-reporting is going to give vague data at best, especially with women.

The only real problem I have with the study is the finding that high T low cortisol men were deemed less attractive than both high T high cort and low cort low T. In my (extremely extensive) experience, high T low cort seems to be optimal, either that or I am grossly miscalculating the cortisol levels of myself and my friends when in prime condition.

[–]OlearysCow -3 points-2 points-1 points 13 years ago (13 children) | Copy Link

Lol, maybe you should get some more cortisol research that isn't funded by the feminist movement as well.

horseshit. if you think the study is wrong prove it. you're not going to fool anyone with your unsubstantiated association fallacy.

not significantly linked, meaning they were linked but the cortisol link was stronger.

which is what I've been trying to say.

It's funny because I'm basically agreeing with you here but for some reason you want to start a big war about a non-issue.

No, you said " "pecking order" is determined by testosterone levels, which can be manipulated and maxed out with good health and nutrition." I explained why this was wrong. You made a reply which basically said the opposite of what I was saying which required a lengthy post to address each of the false statements.

Low cortisol levels and high T levels are both linked to good health and they both play a role in attraction.

Not debating this.

You and I both know showing a bunch of chicks pictures of guys, isn't the same as setting 50 guys and 50 girls loose in a room and letting them actual select a mate.

or this...

Something tells me those low cortisol low T guys likely wouldn't be pulling much tail. The high T mid-high cortisol guys would be steam rolling them, and the high T low cortisol guys would basically be gods.

I call bullshit. There is way more involved in reproductive success than hormone levels. someone could have high T levels but if he's ugly and dumb as a post he isn't getting nearly as much tail as a smart, good looking guy, with low T that puts himself out there and lets the ladies come to him.

DISCLAIMER, THIS IS THE PART WHERE I START TALKING OUT OF MY ASS

And this is why I think women pick men based on their cortisol levels before anything else.

T is only one of the many variables that will determine where a man ends up on the social hierarchy (including height, generalized intelligence, social intelligence, looks, social proof, lateral thinking, etc.) but cortisol levels are the barometer that women use to tell exactly where all of those variables put him on the social ladder.

The only real problem I have with the study is the finding that high T low cortisol men were deemed less attractive than both high T high cort and low cort low T. In my (extremely extensive) experience, hight T low cort seems to be optimal, either that or I am grossly miscalculating the cortisol levels of myself and my friends when in prime condition.

maybe the study was wrong, maybe T is associated with certain antisocial behaviors that were productive hundreds/thousands of years ago that we don't need anymore in our modern society. Or maybe it's something else that I haven't even thought of. But unless someone proves the study was wrong I don't have any real reason to doubt it.

[–][deleted] -2 points-1 points0 points 13 years ago* (12 children) | Copy Link

horseshit. if you think the study is wrong prove it. you're not going to fool anyone with your unsubstantiated association fallacy.

Exactly what I do on a daily basis, maxing my T (and lowering my cort), resulting in phenomenal success in the field. When these factors go out of whack, my success takes a big hit. Already mentioned why the cortisol factors in less overall than T, but it seems you're just ignoring my entire argument, and twisting my words for no reason.

I've already mentioned the importance of cortisol in other articles I've written, but T holds more value and often has a correlation to cortisol anyhow, which is why I usually don't bother mentioning it. Remember at the begining of the article where I stated: I'm a strong proponent of investing in looks and more specifically, in your health.

I don't know what makes you think that I don't believe cortisol factors in there, just because I don't explicitly mention it in the article doesn't mean I don't support it. I also didn't mention that I believe a giant spaghetti monster lives behind the moon so are you going to claim that I believe this to be true next?

There is way more involved in reproductive success than hormone levels.

Didn't say this was the only thing, I said it is the most important, which is definitely my opinion and has yet to be proven.

someone could have high T levels but if he's ugly and dumb as a post he isn't getting nearly as much tail as a smart, good looking guy, with low T that puts himself out there and lets the ladies come to him.

The objective is to maximize your results, not fret over the better results that a better looking, more intelligent guy is acruing. The better question would be:

If there are two guys:

  • a smart, good looking guy, with low T
  • and a smart, good looking guy, with high T and low cort and is in phenomenally good health in general

Which one gets better results with the ladies? I'm guessing guy number 2, but if you want to bury your fucking head in the sand be my guest.

[Edit:

You didn't explain shit sir: http://cogprints.org/663/1/bbs_mazur.html

This information has been around for a long fucking time. I already told you why the ape study you linked is bogus: being at the bottom of the totem pole creates an extremely stressful environment, which will raise cortisol levels. I don't even need to conduct an experiment to realize there is a correlation here. But this is the result of the pecking order, not the cause of it.

Conducting an experiment to reprove something to satisfy your trolling needs seems counterproductive however.

End Edit]

"pecking order" is determined by testosterone levels, which can be manipulated and maxed out with good health and nutrition.

I don't really know anything about this testosterone / cortisol business. I don't even know what cortisol is. Can you give me a TLDR of how this relates to game? Thanks

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 13 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Testosterone is basically a sex hormone that is present at mucher higher levels in men than women (roughly 7-10 times higher). It correlates to a high sex drive, low body fat, muscular build, and various masculine behavoirs. It can rise and fall very rapidly. Usually in the morning, and during intense weight lifting it rises to it's peak levels. Also it blood-plasma testosterone rises when consuming alcohol, hence the reason it's nickname "liquid confidence," also it rises in women while consuming alcohol, which is why drunk chicks are generally 10x easier to game than sober chicks.

Cortisol is basically the stress hormone. It will serve as an anti-stress / anti-inflammatory in the body. So people who have bad health, unusually high stress, disease, or other conditions may have unusually high levels. Overworking yourself in the gym can also cause high levels of cortisol. There are a number of negative effects that an occur if levels are kept too high for too long and for optimal health it's obviously best to keep cortisol levels low.

[–]TRP Vanguardlegendofpasta 1 point2 points3 points 13 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

This is extremely useful to know. I also started working out in the morning before work now so hopefully I can take advantage of this peak testosterone time.

I always knew drunk girls were easier to game, I just didn't know the biological reason why. Truly fascinating haha.

The cortisol stuff makes a ton of sense. I can look at people around me and tell you who is high and low in this.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yeah, it is really useful info, once you understand how it all works you can begin to see a ton of correlations in the field. Like why some days you get better results than others. Why that little guys is still pulling like a boss. Why that wallflower is a wallflower, etc. I can usually take one look at a guy and tell how well he will be doing that night, makes it easy to spot your most likely competition as well. Amongst other things.

Unfortunately the majority of the PUA community tries its hardest to ignore / distort this information, no fucking idea why though.

projecting much? It's ironic you accuse me of burying my head in the sand when you deliberately dodge the premise/thesis of my argument. Or maybe you've read my last post and still don't understand it.

cortisol isn't a factor in your social status. It's the measurement women use to tell what your social status is. comprendo?

And as I've said before, T is a factor, and one of the bigger ones, but It's one of a million variables. And we haven't even gotten into a discussion of prenatal T exposure and postnatal T exposure.

but back to your original post I was responding to.

you don't improve your social status by upping your T levels. you improve it by studying game, changing your behavior, and changing your environment.

Read it. Answered it. Done with your trolling.

you don't improve your social status by upping your T levels.

Yes. You do. This and of course: being in good health. (yes lower cortisol levels and all of that goodness, T is still the strongest factor, but that's just an opinion based on lots of research you don't feel like reading)

you improve it by studying game, changing your behavior, and changing your environment.

This is also true. With the former having a significant impact on your ability to do the later.

no you didn't. and you still haven't.

see? you skipped right over the first part.

If that were try than pro bodybuilders would be the most socially dominant alpha males the world has ever seen...

but they aren't. They're just regular guys with big muscles. In fact, university studies have shown that women given T without knowing it actually became more cooperative.

Meanwhile people on parkinsons medication turn into gambling gay sex addicts. Why? because the medications fuck with their dopamine levels. the chemical that actually controls sex drive and the reward centers of the brain.

But if you have any research to prove your premise/disprove mine feel free to post some. since I've cited 4 different sources now and you've cited zero.

Body builders also have unnaturally high T levels, regular guys can't ever hope to getting their T levels that high, but you're right, too much of a good thing can be bad. I bet almost any steroid free method / drug free method of jacking up T levels won't get you close to what those guys are riding on.

Nobody said anything about drug abuse as an effective means of manipulated these variables. I recall stating diet and fitness are the top ways you should go about this.

But if you have any research to prove your premise/disprove mine feel free to post some. since I've cited 4 different sources now and you've cited zero.

You've sighted three irrelevant sources and one that I already told you was incorrect, with the reason why, in my opinion this adds up to 0. Also you still haven't read the source I posted, which was written based on 100's of sources that supporting similar findings.

It has nothing to do with good or bad. it has to do with "they shouldn't do it because it doesn't change anything. because upping your T levels doesn't change your social status"

Nobody said anything about drug abuse as an effective means of manipulated these variables. I recall stating diet and fitness are the top ways you should go about this.

So you think diet and excercise with increase your T enough to drastically change your social status but injecting it into your femoral artery with a caulking gun somehow doesn't do anything.

on the other hand manipulating your dopamine levels chemically has been proven to drastically change peoples behavior.

You've sighted three irrelevant sources and one that I already told was incorrect, with the reason why, in my opinion this adds up to 0. Also you still haven't read the source I posted, which was written based on 100's of sources that supporting similar findings.

You haven't posted a single link this entire discussion and in your article you post two links to blog posts about looks and three about health and looks. None of which are relevant to the comment I'm responding to; which is T's link to social status.

It has nothing to do with good or bad. it has to do with "they shouldn't do it because it doesn't change anything. because upping your T levels doesn't change your social status"

It changes your behavoir, which does affect your social standing. Too much could be a bad thing of course ~

Just like all of the research I pointed to already argues. You should read it, might help you with this issue you have with T levels.

So you think diet and excercise with increase your T enough to drastically change your social status but injecting it into your femoral artery with a caulking gun somehow doesn't do anything.

Sure it does, but like I said, things could be taken too far, and stepping outside the natural range of T levels could possibly end up hurting your results. I honestly don't have much experience here so I'm not going to make any bold claims, for all we know Ronnie Coleman is a mad pimp with the ladies.

on the other hand manipulating your dopamine levels chemically has been proven to drastically change peoples behavior.

No argument from me here. Dopamine certainly has an impact on behavoir as well, and it deserves some attention.

And women will choose a high T low cortisol man over both ~ which is the end goal of good health, I'm certaintly not condoning increasing cortisol levels as a method of getting better results.

Your social status and social intelligence are also both affected by your health, so I'm not arguing with you here.

[–]OlearysCow -2 points-1 points0 points 13 years ago* (1 child) | Copy Link

And women will choose a high T low cortisol man over both ~ which is the end goal of good health.

the study I just linked: "Men with low cortisol levels were often rated as more attractive than guys with high cortisol levels. Testosterone levels were not significantly linked with attractiveness, masculinity or health. "

I'm certaintly not condoning increasing cortisol levels as a method of getting better results.

first, I said:

in primates the ones on the bottom of the pecking order have the highest cortisol levels, and the ones at the top have the lowest

So to simulate a high status male, you would lower your C levels. not increase them.

Nothing is going to substitute time spent in field, but if you're someone with naturally high C levels, even if you blow out the AMOGs you're going to constantly feel and look stressed i.e. unhealthy, sickly, and a poor choice for women to mate with.

So yes, if you want to manipulate hormones to simulate the look and feel of a high status male, C is the hormone you want. Not T.

edit:

Your social status and social intelligence are also both affected by your health, so I'm not arguing with you here.

IMO I think your status in a social circle and intelligence are controlled by genes, and is largely independent of your health. I'm not trying to argue either. just clear up some misunderstandings.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 13 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

I don't disagree with any of what you're saying except that testosterone has nothing to do with it. I'm sure whatever study you linked has information supporting just that, but this doesn't disproove the countless studies that do link testosterone to social dominance and hence, male attractiveness. Not to mention high T levels reduce AA, increase confidence and risk taking behavoir (i.e. escalating, opening bigger groups, dealing with AMOGs).

T levels have a very real connection to game, although you might be right that T levels don't actually manifest themselves physically, except through manipulations of body movement (they become more masculine) and tonality (high T voices are generally deeper), and possibly some other minor ways.

With regards to the primate study you linked: is the high cortisol the reason they are at the bottom of the pecking order, or are the high cortisol levels because they are at the bottom of the pecking order. My intuition tells me it's the later (being at the bottom of the totempole is likely very stressful), and their base T levels are what caused them to end up down there (T levels also have a similar correlation in primates).

I realize you are just arguing for the sake of arguing, but most of what you say I agree with. You're gravely mistaken if you think T levels play no role in mate selection amongst heterosexual humans however. Although, since you've got 0 experience in this department, I wouldn't expect you to understand. I'm certainly not about to log onto a game site for homosexuals and starting spouting off as if I know what they go through.

[Edit: opps, got you confused with the gay guy on the thread, disregard that last insult I tossed your way.]

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point 13 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Lol, for some reason I thought I had mistakenly mentioned that ONLY T levels affect your results in the article, looked back at it and realized I didn't even mention T levels, only health.

Aren't you just the biggest fucking troll I've run into on the net ~ maybe you can earn a reddit badge for this thread? Congrats on pissing someone off who was in complete agreement with you, that must take some serious fucking skill.

[–]squarehouse 3 points4 points5 points 13 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Hear, hear!

I think the misunderstanding here is what is understood when people talk about "looks".

The confusion is in thinking that the opposite sex looks at sexual attraction, sex appeal, in the same way they do. For men, I'd rather say "demeanor" than "looks", but only if you understand "looks" as an essential part of your demeanor.

When a guy sizes up his own looks, he'll fallback to the way men see women: He'll smile in the mirror, he'll pose in front of a full length mirror with his shirt off and some jeans on.

Yeah: Not even a little bit. Women see exactly such posing and modeling and smiling as the supplicating behavior it is. She can't divorce content from context the way we can. There was some study a while back, I honestly only read the headline, that showed demonstrative proof that men generally only see parts of a woman at a time, whereas women see men as a whole. (Yes, surprise, surprised, that accursed sexual objectification that men seem so often to be guilty of is simply Nature after all. Again, men are being reprimanded for being...men.)

But even more, women want to see a man in his own frame. It's sexy seeing a man work, especially when he is the least conscious of his subtle dominance and mastery of the scene. His looks play an important role in all of this.

I'm glad you mentioned high-T...because I think that's simply the essence of alpha. Everything else, and you seem to agree, low body fat, dominant and aggressive behavior, the right demeanor, the will to compete and take risks, lower emphathy, less give-a-fucks, are all symptoms of the endocrine system. But neither height nor status nor wealth can beat men who are endocrinally gifted.

Yes, these are great points that you've brought up. Male attractiveness in general is so fucking hard to define. Female attractiveness can usually be summed up in a few short lines, but for men there are so many variables that all pile up to create the whole man.

I think for these reasons even extremely good looking men don't get incredible results in online dating as well (compared to women who are very good looking), because there simply isn't enough information that can be presented by a man on OkC to merit a woman to contact him.

"But neither height nor status nor wealth can beat men who are endocrinally gifted." <- I'm stealing this line.

Apparently seddit thinks this topic has nothing to do with seduction, so I guess I'm posting here from now ~

I know I'm beating a dead horse here as well, but it's still good to refresh on old material.

When you reach the pinnacle of your health and you walk into a club, every woman in the room immediately recognizes your presence, and you can feel their gaze taunting you, hoping, wishing, and dreaming of being approached by you.

These lines and this kind of line of though always makes me wonder how much self-esteem most of these 'alpha bloggers' actually have.

dreaming of being approached by you.

Now here's what I think I finally understood about 'game', 'alpha' and 'the game' - they're all trying to live the dream of fucking hot shallow chicks, right? Don't need to partner who you can talk to or even has a brain. That line makes it really clear how 'deep' this author's personality really is and how fuzzy his vision of reality really is.

Anyways, here are my two cents: Of course fucking looks matter, there's no way you can disprove that. What the author fails to note is that looks are more than body fat. Or muscle. You can, obviously, improve those and it's not necessarily to look like the biggest body builder in the world - it will always depend on your target audience.

And for the target audience there are far more important things than physical looks.

Maybe I didn't read the text correctly, but the author didn't mention anything about dressing your self, shaving, hair style, perfume and etc.

Then again, I repeat myself about the shallowness of the article.

And one final point:

Research showing that men with a body fat in the 6-10% range will be considered more attractive than those in abnormal (unhealthy) body fat ranges.

For fuck sake, anything around 17% body fat is seen as medically fit, is the author anorexic too?

[–]TRP Vanguardlegendofpasta 3 points4 points5 points 13 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link

Actually, 12% body fat is the most attractive %. Source

Also, may I ask why you continue to White Knight here? You've mentioned before that you're gay and Brazilian, so you wouldn't have these straight male American problems. We are dealing with a misguided society, and therefore, our methods may appear to be misguided to you, but they are a necessity here. The medicine doesn't taste good, but it works.

Don't need to partner who you can talk to or even has a brain.

Smart or dumb, brain or no brain, they all say yes to the Alpha. Fact.

Maybe I didn't read the text correctly, but the author didn't mention anything about dressing your self, shaving, hair style, perfume and etc.

These are important and should not be overlooked. I'll throw you a bone on this. I spend a lot of money on my hair.

Actually, 12% body fat is the most attractive %. Source[1]

I was pointing out that the author compared 6-10% range to those in abnormal (unhealthy) ranges. It was quoted the original study from the blog.

Smart or dumb, brain or no brain, they all say yes to the Alpha. Fact.

Yes they do, that's not the deal. The problem is when you think you're an Alpha but you sound like Brucie from GTA4, that will get you your target group: shallow stupid mindless girls.

White Knight?

Really? That's how I'm being seen? What I'm telling is that a lot of the crap that is being posted here sound fake, everything sound like shitty advice from a guy who really thinks he's an alpha, when he's a beta - and they usually seem to pass some real bad self esteem problems.

I remain here because I still manage to get a lot of information that is constructive to my life, and because I started to notice that this is not an American problem, this is a straight men problem.

And it honestly helps me understand why some of my friends are so submissive to women.

The post on the side bar ( Confessions of a Reformed InCel - actually this post made me rethink a lot about my own life and my preconceptions of people) is the reason I remain around here. Because I felt like that for a long long while, only after I was in my early 20s that the gay scene showed me what nobody has ever really told me, that 'waiting for the special someone' is complete bullshit. And there's a lot about manhood that isn't taught but it's somehow learnt.

Anyways, this feels like self justification for being here, in the end, I feel like this place is one of the epicenters of some sort of men's liberation movement, but I still feel that there are a lot of arguments being made that seem to externalize the guilt and suppress low self esteem.

I go back to my argument stating that I call complete bullshit for reaching the pinnacle of your health just because you want to bang some stupid bitches in the club. That's a perk that comes with being an Alpha. But you shouldn't do that just to have sex. You shouldn't own your own business just to show off. And you don't need to brag about how many ho's you managed to fuck during the weekend to assert your own sexuality.

tl;dr: I'm honestly trying to get some discussion going on and not simply whiteknighting =)

Have my upvote, sir. And thank you for contributing to the discussion. I'm glad to see that this knowledge affects a wide array of people for a wide array of reasons. Consider my mind less narrow, brother.

[–]johnnybigoode 2 points3 points4 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Thanks.

I'm not sure if this is a good or not, but I've been feeling kinda blue because of all this crap - specially when I started to notice how trapped my friends are in their relationships...

I mean, I guess I'm kinda privileged for having such view of society but I'm feeling like shit because I can't really do anything for them.

I consider being in good shape a +30 points.

Good game is + 30 points.

If you start at 0 points, each alone will put you in a similar position.

Both together, and you're unstoppable.

I am not in the best shape, but my game is good.

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Aye, they both play a heavy part, the main point I was also trying to make is how they are tied to one another.

When in tip top physical condition, I notice game flows more smoothly than ever for a number of reasons: high T, mental clarity, relaxed attitude, less rejection due to physical condition, etc. etc. etc. These things all stack up and make running game easier as well. If you're game is a solid + 30 but your health is a +0, you aren't going to get good results, period. Take three months off, boost your health up to a plus +20, then run with that +30 game, and you will be knocking them down like there is no tomorrow, the impact is significant, and honestly not that tough to achieve.

No offense here man, but you seem to be reading stuff into the article that wasn't even there.

  • I never go to clubs, but the same shit works everywhere.
  • I wasn't claiming to be some master alpha male, but I do have to write for entertainment value. What do you fucking expect?
  • You can nitpick the body fat range I listed all you want, but regardless of what the actual range is, I think we can all agree: there is a healthy body fat range for every individual that will maximize his/her physical attractiveness.

tl;dr: I'm honestly trying to get some discussion going on and not simply whiteknighting =)

Sounds more like trolling to me, but if you want to start over and have an actual discussion without inserting words into my mouth and nitpicking numbers, lets do it =]

[–]johnnybigoode 2 points3 points4 points 13 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Maybe I'm a little harsh since most posts seem to drift from what I initially understood as Alpha.

Yeah, and i totally exaggerated the part about the numbers.

What I don't understand is the excessive need for auto affirmation. And this is something that as an Alpha, you should be careful. A person who needs to show off his masculinity ends up showing that he is not in control of his self, and that could fuck up any kind of daily politics you have to handle - for example in your job.

Is there a good reason to focus so much on sex?

A person who needs to show off his masculinity ends up showing that he is not in control of his self, and that could fuck up any kind of daily politics you have to handle - for example in your job.

At what point exactly did you feel that I did this in the article? My site is fully dedicated to teaching men how to get laid more efficiently and with higher quality women. I will tell any anecdote that expresses exactly that. If you have a problem with this, that's fine, but it's not going to change any time soon.

Perhaps the one line set you off:

When you reach the pinnacle of your health and you walk into a club, every woman in the room immediately recognizes your presence, and you can feel their gaze taunting you, hoping, wishing, and dreaming of being approached by you.

Well, I listed this anecdote because, this is what actually happens when you reach the pinnacle of your health. It's not a bullshit line and it isn't about bragging. This actually happens to me in the field. I've been to parties in top health and fucked 5-6 different chicks I met all at that one party, and I've done it multiple times. It's not an overexaggeration and the best part is: other men can replicate this, because I know how it was done. This is about letting my readers know what CAN be achieved if they set their mind to it and work towards it. I'm obviously not mentioning this in my day to day interactions, because yes, that would be fucking retarded, but this is an online forum where people come to LEARN about the things they don't yet know or understand, so this info deserves a place here.

If I can do it, most average guys can do it, beause there is absolutely nothing special about me in the looks department. Yet I constantly hear up and comers whining about "only looks matter" or PUAs claiming "looks matter, but if you focus on game... blah blah" The reality is you need both if you ever want to get the best results possible. And in my own opinion, health outweighs game knowledge because good health creates good mental health and a positive outlook on life (amongst other things), which will help give you "natural" game basically. Even if you know nothing about game.

It's true, there are other things that should be studied within game to achieve even better success. But the problem a lot of newbs face is, they study the shit out of game, they practice it day in and day, then they drop it because they get no results, and this is usually because their baseline attraction is slow low no woman of value is even considering them as a possible mating opportunity (source: this has happened to me). Something they could have fixed if they realized that game alone won't solve all their problems.

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

First of all, I did mention other things that affect a man's physical attractiveness, the point I was making, is the most important aspects of physical attraction can be heavily manipulated: skin tone, t levels, body fat, and build.

Second, body fat % is a percent, so there is no one number fits all:

  • A 50kg man with 10% body fat has 5kgs of body fat
  • A 100kg man with 10% body fat has 10kgs of body fat

Where that fat is distributed also comes into play, but for me personally, I usually don't appear to be extremely fit unless I'm in the 6-10% range. For skinnier guys 12-15% would probably be the equivalent. Body fat is just one of those numbers that doesn't translate well, and for me personally, 6-10% is the sweet spot, which I have learned through trial and error. I suppose I should mention this in the article.

all trying to live the dream of fucking hot shallow chicks, right?

All women will judge you based on your looks, like it or not it's a fact of life we all have to deal with. Humans are shallow in general, and yes I am trying to live the dream, the dream of maximizing my SMV so I can fuck who I want, when I want. Is there something wrong with this?
