Women say they want to date nice guys (Urbaniak & Kilmann, 2003), but their actions and choices often send a different message

This is really all you need to take out of this article, this is all anyone needs to take out of it in order to realise women talk a lot of hot shit. However, the article does put the concept into words easy enough for someone yet to swallow to digest.

The article isn't entirely red-pill though:

This was clearly documented in a study examining the date-ability of online profiles depicting "Nice Todd," "Neutral Todd," and "Jerky Todd" (Urbaniak & Kilmann, 2003).

These profiles were identical except for subtle suggestions of traditional qualities of niceness—and women selected Nice Todd as the person to date twice as often as they did Neutral Todd, and more than eight times as frequently as Jerky Todd (Urbaniak & Kilmann, 2003).

That study was flawed. They took a beta and made him rude, assuming that alone would make him more attractive. It didn't.

It's more than that. It suggests anything "nice" is ever attractive. We've well and codified the language enough that lets clear now:

Niceness is kindness without agency.

By defenition it will never be attractive. If kindness were ever, you can no longer be nice, ever again.

It's about being good looking or being TRP. Most of these "nice guys" need to hit the gym and learn some game. Chances are these guys are plain ugly.

Nice guys don't finish last. Being truly generous of spirit is a pretty powerful trait in a man. "Niceness" which is actually cowardice, status anxiety, submission or currying of favor ... not so much.

Indeed, women prioritize physical attractiveness over kindness when describing their preferences for a short-term partner (Li & Kenrick, 2006). For long-term relationships, non-physical characteristics take precedence: Women care more about kindness and warmth and less about status and physical attractiveness.

If there ever was a more perfect way to describe Alpha Fucks, Beta Bucks, I haven't seen it.

This is kind of bullshit though, women prefer Alphas over Betas for long term AND short term relationships. Problem is that most of them don't have the natural beauty and behavioral femininity that is needed to keep and alpha male, so they develop a double strategy.
