You assume that Maintaining Frame and probably other TRP strategies are fake and something that you ought to perform.

Maintaining Frame is something that one must internalize so that it becomes a habit, done naturally without thinking, therefore maintaing frame will be relaxing and natural.

The similarities between maintaining frame and stoicism is uncanny, "frame" is an old concept re-discovered in modern times and ill be so bold as to say that it stems or has been plagiarized from the philosophy of stoicism. Both concepts represent emotional independence. Both concepts are that identical.

While frame is mostly focused on interaction with women based on the nature of women, stoicism focuses on all interactions and the nature of all things.

You cannot change what you cannot control, and complaining about circumstance is as childishly futile as discussing philosophy with a dog. You cannot negotiate with chance or with nature, you cannot expect nature or chance to adapt to your needs. It is foolish and you will achieve nothing.

You can only accept and adapt to the nature of things and the circumstance bestowed upon you by chance. Take responsibility for improving your circumstance, use your awareness of the predictability of the true nature of things to your advantage, expect the inevitability of chance and prepare for it. Be emotionally independent of outcome (unaffected by negative external influence) and take responsibility for yourself.

You are only dealt one set of cards, it is your responsibility to make the most of the cards you have been dealt. Complaining about your shitty hand will do nothing for you but betray your hand to the opposition, you must instead put on your poker face and use your ingenuity to achieve success with the cards you have.

If your boss is an asshole and belittles you complaining will betray weakness, you must instead accept your circumstance and adapt to his foul nature by refusing to be emotionally affected by his behavior with amused mastery. Make light of him and portray him as an emotional wreck to be joked about, and never to be taken seriously. Come up with a mocking nickname that describes him as a fool.

Be friendly towards him in person, meet his negativity with humorous positivity in front of your colleagues, but do not appease. if he dismisses you or welcomes your outcome independence this works to your advantage either way.

Sooner or later he will no longer be feared by his staff, instead he will be laughed at behind his back. The staffs respect for him will vanish and they will be more likely to lay complaints and grievances, and bring to question his ability as a leader to his superiors.

Chance must also be prepared for, such as the possibility of spies and informants among the staff.

He will eventually be forced to change his attitude or be forced to leave depending on how he reacts, and you will be the always positive leader who held it together in the eyes of the staff.

Frame, or being stoic, is not about being tense, it is about expecting but being unaffected by negative outcome. IT IS ABOUT RELAXING. It will take some time, but eventually "frame" will be your default attitude.

I relax from 8:00pm- 4:30am.

Lol just kidding. But to answer your question, yes, I am always relaxed. You need to put on work to make this happen, though.

It's only stressful for you to hold frame because it's not congruent with your limited self identity yet. The more you condition yourself to think and act in an alpha manner, the more relaxed you become and the more effortlessly you hold frame. In fact, you don't really have to "hold" frame after a certain point except on the rare occasion that you're faced with a soul crushing shit test. Frame is a muscle that you build and what seems difficult today becomes child's play in due time.
