Do you hang out with other Alphas?

I hung out with a crew of boys who identified as alphas. They were into PUA, The Game and all it's theory and so on. They were insufferable to hang around. All they talked about was game theory and girls. They were absolutely consumed by women

These are beta PUAs, letting women be the focal point of your life is about as beta as it fucking gets. Spending $3000 on some gay bootcamp is the lamest shit in the fucking world.

I felt the whole thing was kind of pathetic.

Because it is.

So, my question to you is when you're hanging out with your mates, do you prefer if they have a different attitude towards women that you? Do you prefer hanging around guys who identify as alpha that you can chat game with?

Most people, even betas, agree with the shit I say about women when I give them the logic behind my assholeish comments. The thing is, its a constant battle, you're constantly challenging their delusions and you have to make them use their logic rather than use their de facto rationalisation hamster so they can actually see you're right or made a valid point or whatever.

There's probably one beta whose company I truly enjoy but he's not full beta, probably a "greater beta", because he's beta in practice but mentally he's alpha (what I mean is, bad with girls, low confidence, but has a red-pill-ish filter and perception of women when it comes to understanding their nature) however despite this understanding it's not enough, he fails to apply the knowledge, he's still easily manipulated by women, his girlfriend is ugly as hell and doesn't deserve him (he could do much better, but I digress) his mother is some matriarch who castrated him his entire life even though his dad has always been around (beta father), thus he's been socialised poorly.

Hi all. I'm interested in finding out if you guys like the company of other Alphas, Betas or a mix.

My 3 closest friends are all red pill alphas. We resonate the most, we have great banter, jokes, philosophical discussion and analysis on various topics, obviously including but far from limited to our observations on women.

As for betas, they tend to be incredibly pathetic and uninteresting or incredibly annoying/try hard/passive aggressive.

For these reasons alone, I tend not to enjoy the company of betas. They always perceive me as a threat, try to challenge me and generally bring the energy down. Betas are weird, when they see the girls like you they will either try to be your friend to try and emulate some of your behaviour or they will just fucking hate you even more.

Betas bring so much negative energy to the party I just don't even have the time for them. Jealousy is an ugly outfit to bring to the ball and the manifestation of all that insecurity can just get way too much.

I have an alpha mentor helping me out from prison. A very natural alpha, long story, but he's helped via letters while trying to find myself post-divorce traveling between jungles, drugs, and whores in Asia.

I'm only friends with 1 true Alpha and honestly I have a large amount of respect for the dude. The dude doesn't even have to raise his voice to command a group of people and ever since middle school he has had his pick of women. In my blue pill days he would spill all this Red pill knowledge on to me and tell me that I was too much of a "nice guy" to get women wet.

I don't fuck around with wannabe alphas. Chances are in real life, I wouldn't be friends with most people in this sub if we lived in the same ecosystem. In your words, I do not prefer hanging around guys who "identify as being alpha" because that is basically proof that they are jackasses who watch Glengarry Glen Ross too much. Chances are OP you are using the term alpha way too liberally - by definition of the term, only the top of the pyramid is going to be alpha. Pulling a decent amount of ass because you read David DeAngelo =/= alpha.

I don't really even factor in alpha or beta when I choose friends. It's purely "is your company enjoyable". My gym partner is beta as fuck. Whipped in every relationship he gets into, believes that he has to finish becoming a doctor before he pulls hot girls, so he will only approach 5s and 6s through his social circle. But he is a cool dude - unlike many betas, he doesn't act weird around higher value guys and he doesn't hamster constantly about the things we do together like working out, etc. That makes him a far better friend than some "alpha wingman" who secretly is trying to fuck my chick to prove he is the ultimate cocksman in town.

I've only met like 20 or so people who I felt were truly alpha in my 29 years. Out of those I'd say 2 became my really good friends, and maybe half of the others had potential, but we were both too indifferent to the idea of putting forth effort into making friends, so it didn't happen.

Speaking as one who isn't a real alpha in the group, yes, they do.

My main group only has a couple alphas, but some of my friends have a pretty much 50-50 alpha group. They're great together, usually.

Ask yourself the same question that you (hopefully) ask of women: what do they bring to the table? People who have beta tendencies in relationships can be extremely alpha in other aspects of their lives (e.g., professional, activities).

It's fine if they are alphas, but if they are intentionally interfering or sabotaging your approaches, you should re-evaluate keeping them as friends.

I hang around with men who aren't pua's because they are so one dimensional that they are a bore to be around.

I don't have really any beta friends and omegas can go and die in a fire as I far as I am concerned. There is no way I could hang out with someone so pathetic.

I had one guy who tried to befriend me who own a fedora and fit the whole stereotype. Guys like that are poison.

In the past I used to hang with the effeminate male circles, and kinda felt "off" the whole time we were friends (3 years in college). Always felt like we were making excuses of why to not go out and stay in and play video games, or eat unhealthy. Would rationalize away and say "we're not superficial," "doesn't matter we'll be rich soon enough." Looking back, it was really pathetic on my part because it wasn't me (this is a common thread in TRP - where we reflect and realize just how pitiful we were).

Fast forward 3 years to my final year at college. I gave up on the friendships. Some graduated, and the rest I just drifted away from. Had a lot to do with me breaking up with an ex and realizing just how weak I actually was (physically and mentally), and discovering this subreddit.

From there I swung to the other side of the spectrum. Cut out nearly all my friends, cut out all the crap food I ate, cut out jerking off, cut out extraneous activities, and dived into a massive self-improvement campaign (it was extreme).

First few months were pretty bad; hard to see physical results, lots of mental turmoil, failing with girls left and right, anytime I talked about TRP people would label me immediately as a woman hater (no joke, it was weird).

Sunk into a really bad depression. Felt suicidal cause of how bad I had failed in going after what I wanted. I would say a more numb feeling when approaching day-to-day activities. No exaggerations.

Anyways, made some online friends on TRP, which pretty much saved me. The harsh advice was eye opening, and exposed every weak part of my mental approach (constantly rationalizing, fearful of sharing opinion, sympathizing with feminist/opposing opinions that didn't make sense, etc.). And then began to see gym results, which was great.

And then just decided to not care about anything (side effect of the depression/suicidal mentality) and began to talk to every person I ran into. I was hellbent on finding other "psychos" like me so I didn't feel like I was crazy. I randomly found a mentor who was much older than me and someone who understood where I was coming from.

He brought me to a new level. Shaped my new life perspective on how getting girls is just a symptom of being legendary. For the next few months spent a lot of time talking about his past and my own. At that time I was still very alone and pretty angry at myself, so was somewhat counter-productive when trying to meet people (hellbent on meeting people, but angry in interactions...doesn't make sense).

Graduated, got a great job, and then moved into a house and made 2 friends who were older but had red pill approach.

So it's been about 6 months since then, have about 3 "core" friends that I share the hard thoughts/questions I go through. Before had about 20-30 friends...but it wasn't real.

Answering your question: Yes, we do chat game. But not on a PUA level, where you talk about "if she does this, then you do this." It's a larger approach on understanding why I feel fearful on approach, or what they learned in their 10 years more experience in life than me.

The biggest value I get is that we hold each other accountable to goals we set. Just yesterday we agreed to work on talking to more individuals, 2 more per day, and then at night reflect on who we met (girls or guys). Also with the gym goals, or food goals.

It's a lonely world when you trudge alone, but once you find other people who are really like you, it's worth that alone-ness.

I'm in a fraternity that is stereotyped as the "jocks" so naturally the majority of us are alphas. We do talk women and game but it doesn't consume us. We hang out and watch sports a ton and girls just naturally flock to our house uninvited exactly because we don't invite them. The vast majority of other frats on our campus (pitifully) are betas, they invite girls out to their functions and feed them liquor in the hopes of getting in their pants (it works rarely) but overall my house slays the hottest women on campus simply because we don't cater to their faintest whim.

I think its quite important to do this, Alpha or no Alpha someone who has game can open doors. It slowly boosts youre confidence as well particularly if youve been doing one thing that may not have been working for a while. Its always good to reshuffle youre cards.

Me and my buddies dont talk about girls much, just whatever we are doing in life , what we can do better , insights we have every now and then.......most of my buddies are from Muay thai though
