Does Islam need feminism?

Islam doesn't need feminism any more than anything else needs feminism.

For anyone wondering, Islam does not condone beating women despite whatever stories Fox News can cherry-pick from a religion of 1.6 billion people or what poorly translated Quran quotes you are shown by white Christians. Islamic women are not "oppressed." Feminists or maybe American women in general are so egocentric and ethnocentric that they actually think they need to liberate these women. The reality is that there are a lot of Islamic women who view them as oppressed.

Where feminists might say that Muslim women are pressured to cover their bodies and it's not fair and blah blah, Islamic women will say that American women are oppressed because they are pressured to reveal their bodies. But of course if feminists were capable of seeing things from another point of view, there wouldn't be a lot of feminists.

Islamic women don't cover their bodies because their husbands force them or any bullshit like that. They do it because they want to. For their husbands, sure, but mostly they do it for God and they do it of their own free will.

As for the abuse of women in their culture, you could literally read every story about it every single day for the rest of your life and it wouldn't even be a statistically significant number compared to the religion as a whole. Sure, it's awful, but it's no different from any of the other awful shit that happens just as often in our own society or in other societies. The only difference is you don't read news stories that say "Christian man beats wife" even though it surely happens every day. You don't see a headline that says "Jew murders family" (imagine the backlash on that one) because it's not relevant. It only becomes relevant when it's a Muslim because that's when it's sensational. Muslims are the commies of this generation. And the millions of Muslim families living normal, happy lives don't really make for good news.

I've gotten off-topic. Anyway, I think my point is that Islam is not "red pill" any more than it is "peaceful" or "violent" or anything else because a religion itself is not anything. But it sure as fuck doesn't need feminism.

I'm not Islamic or even religious- just something I grew up close to and have always been into in an academic capacity. Not making a judgment one way or the other about any of this stuff personally. Just dropping some knowledge.

I went to a predominantly "Muslim" high school, over 70 percent of the students practiced Islam or Hinduism as their religion, and more or less the same percentage were of arab or indian descent. South Africa is diverse that way.

One thing I can say without doubt is that Islamic communities view western Christian men with nothing but amusement. They crack jokes about how the women are in charge in western and Christian households, and being a Christian I was a recipient of these remarks. The feminists can scream injustice at islam all they want, islam only laughs at them. One of my muslim teachers actually discussed women being granted positions of power in the senate, liberalism, gender equality and welfare all with different names as causes for the fall of rome, and from what I've researched he is mostly right.

The way I see it is that Islam shares TRP sentiments in that they've always been aware that women simply do not have the capability to lead without supervision and lack justice. Given too much freedom they over indulge and become spoiled. The bible asserts this too over and over, but somewhere these values were lost to Christianity (cultural marxism?).

Feminism could try to force their agenda on islam through the government, but its obvious that Islam will either be feminist free, or non existent. Muslims will die before their ways are corrupted, cultural marxism had zero effect on Islam so far, feminism will have less effect.

Makes me think of my authoritarian father, he may as well have been named Stalin. If I was naughty he would beat my ass, but sometimes he would just be quiet and do nothing. Islam needs feminism. It's a good way to de-stabilize it by destroying the muslim family, thus assuring in-fighting and a way to easily secure resources! It's so genius.

I'm obviously being sarcastic, but Islam is one of the only religions that still has balls and it's shit together. Judaism kinda does. Christianity is the laughing stock of the entire Western world, and is roundly mocked. I think it's interesting that muslim apologists will claim, "islam does not condone violence", or "not real islam". Those who pursue islam violently are actually the ones following the quran and the teachings of Muhammad literally. I call these arguments, NAMALT, not all muslims are like that. But even if only 1% of muslims in Western countries committed acts of violence of terrorism, that would mean thousands of men.

But honest to God(or Allah), I support Islam 10x more than any post-modern feminist matriarchal multi-cult westernized bullcrap. And when push comes to shove, Islam has a fierce edge, dying for Allah as a martyr is a real treat. In the West you'll never get people to rally behind the current society. So if the West wants to survive it will logically have to fight for a return of judeo-christian values, or simply embrace Islam. Which one seems more likely in 10-15-20 years?

I wouldn't say it is Red Pill at all. Karen Straughan has done an interesting video that shows that in some ways, Islam has had feminism for a long time.
