My problem is that if I'm decisive, we're never eating anything besides chipotle again
[–]bornredd5 points6 points7 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
So force others to propose alternatives if Chipotle is what you crave.

its NOT "I don't know"
It's "I haven't decided yet."

women are attracted to stubborn guys who are not moderate or "diplomat".
I had a friend who was a pussy magnet..and he had a thing...he was never into compromises..or tying to find the solution in between. He hated Jazz and loved Rock...there was not grey to him...it was whether black or white..no in between. He said it out loud...without censorship nor moderation and pussy tingles because of that. No half ass decisions, no indecisiveness..go for it even if they don't like it. I guess that is a trait among others to be an alpha.
indecisiveness is perceived as unsexy and beta. It makes the pussy dry for good reasons. Imagine our ancestors...while facing a danger like a mammoth or a big lion...and the alpha male of the tribe has to take a quick decision yo save everybody.
Indecisiveness would have made our ancestor get killed. You can easily relate why females hate that.

For important long term decisions, it's okay to ponder and take some time to know for sure what route you want. For example, perhaps it's your next car. You don't want to see the first car that stops at the stop sign and say, 'I'm getting that car'. No, you want to look at the interior and test drive other cars and check the reliability / etc.
I think that the best route to go is 'DON'T LET OTHER PEOPLES OPINIONS CHANGE YOUR DECISIONS'.
And 'ONCE YOU MAKE A DECISION, STICK TO IT TO THE END'.
Beta is letting other peoples opinions change your decisions, and changing your mind after you already made it up.
Girls do this, and betas do this.

Very good advice.
Here is one more that will also leverage for your benefit: ALWAYS KNOW ALL OPINIONS BEFORE YOU DO/BUY ANYTHING.

making decisions and sticking to them is attractive to women.
however, they will still test you by saying, "you're not very spontaneous," or for example, while literally ON THE WAY to the restaurant you've chosen, they will say, "wait...let's go there instead!"
getting you to change your decision = win to them. GO WHERE YOU SAID YOU WERE GOING.

Changing from plan A to plan B isn't necessarily bad. Never having a plan is the problem.
Dinner plans: I'll roll up and say, "Hey, we're going to 'X'!"
Sometimes the LTR will say "How do you feel about 'Y'?" and it legitimately sounds better than where I was planning.
"Hmm. Fuck baby, that does sound good. Let's go."
It's stupid to go somewhere you don't want just because you're trying to 'be alpha.' That's just cutting off your nose to spite your face. If I don't like her idea I'll shoot it down. As long as you're the one making decisions, it's OK to accept input.
Tear me apart but if my woman doesn't have good ideas I don't want her around.

That's one side of the coin. The other side is
So from her point of view you need to be 1) decisive, but 2) decisive in a way that pleases her
It's win-win for them.

It's quite alright to change your mind so long as you are decisive about it. It shows that you are not only decisive but also flexible.
It things do go badly then it is still better for you to have made the decisions.

Im a really indecisive person, but that is because of conflicting morals/values or procrastination/not prepared. So I think what to do is sticking to what you believe and not be lazy

One thing I learned as an NCO in the military was when faced with indecisivness, make a decision. Mistakes can always be corrected or adapted to later, but the act of being indecisive is not the trait of a leader. When you reach a pause in the tempo of a situation, just DO something. Getting caught up with WHAT should be done often takes over focus of the mission.
Example: Plate hits me up the other night out of the blue. I had planned on reading some TRP, eating my dinner and hitting the hay early. She shows up and I'm unprepared. So instead of sit around figuring out something to do i say "Get in my truck we're going for a drive." A couple minutes later we end up at one of my favorite nighttime spots in the mountains. You can see all the city lights and hear all kinds bugs n shit. Real romantic panty dropper scenario. I end up getting head in my truck before driving back to my place and smashing for several hours. Win.

As funny as this sounds, you're probably not in touch with your feelings.
Because your feelings, or maybe we should call it intuition; is what makes you make a quick decision. Extreme rationality won't help you choose which brand milk in market. You would need to learn all the calories, ingredients etc. to make an informed decision. But you can't do this shit in EVERY choice you have. You just grab one brand of milk for no particular reason that it strikes your fancy a tiny bit more than the next one.
For trivial things just go with whatever feels better. Rely on intuition. Snap! and Done. Believe me, this is more rational than what you're doing (paralysis analysis maybe?). Trust in your gut decision. Even Garry Kasparov listens to his intuition from time to time for guidance.

Remember that the more you decide, the easier it gets to make decisions.

I used to be indecisive. Now, I'm not too sure.
