That sounds like some serious heavy handedness from the mod. This is supposed to be a board about discussion, if you're gonna post a sensitive topic, you have to be ready to hear some differing opinions. If you 2 ant a support group, go to one, or hire a shrink. The people on here have some very strong opinions on some very controversial subjects, and that's part of what makes it such a great place to learn and discuss and not just circle jerk.

His comments are definitely on point. I remember that thread and he talked about getting drunk and being "taken advantage of." If you make a mistake when you are drunk it is no one's fault but your own. Being drunk does not suddenly remove all responsibility from your actions.

Very ironic how the mod says "Critical thinking. Learn it. Banned." considering he did not really apply critical thinking to this situation. From what I remember of the thread, the man was not raped, just regretting a drunk decision.

Well to me it seems a bit fishy someone new would just out and confide this here of all places. So can sort of see the heavy handedness as damage control if dliberately trolling for controversy.

It is a actually a massive blurry grey area despite what some think. You definitely can be raped or taken advantage of while drunk or on drugs. You can also have consexual sex that is wild and freaky or pathetic and dissapointing. Same goes for being sober.

I have read a thread before where guys recounted women taking advantage. Like being on the edge of pass out drunk and she hops on and rides you.

I don't buy you can't consent while drunk. You clearly can and it's much more complex than that. Rape still happens though drunk or not. There is a responsibility on you to make sure you don't contribute to getting into that situation but that does not justify other's actions.

If someone over the legal drinking age is providing a large quantity of alcohol to someone else who is under the legal drinking age for the purpose of taking advantage of them sexually I think that's pretty messed up. This isn't the same as both people were at a party drinking and hooked up. However, with only one guy's word I still wouldn't endorse legal action against the accused.

I'm just gonna put my hat in the ring and say that discussion of homosexuality generally should not be conducted here. This is supposed to be a sub about masculinity and, therefore, will be naturally testosterone-tinged. These are characteristics that my life observances show me fly in the face of the homosexual/metro/bi community (i.e., most gay guys are naturally feminine and therefore identify naturally with women - see "fag hags", girls who love hanging around gay guys because they have so much in common).

This would have been better suited to /r/altTRP. It has nothing to do with the "conventional" drunk sex=rape dynamic that feminism perpetuates in a heterosexual context.

Like it or not, there's 2 camps that want to fuck the alpha male camp: women and fags.
