So I've been invited to speak at a TEDx at my Alma Mater. I'm going to get 17 minutes on stage to talk about saving lives (I am a volunteer First Aid/CPR instructor and First Responder in my community - I work in finance/tech for money).

I am well-versed in RP philosophy/observations, having gone through a BP conversion a few years back. Mostly interested in perspective from experienced RPers on what I may be missing.

Me: 6'0 excellent health, lift/run/bodyweight exercise regularly, strong stage presence, high-energy conversationally (good for working crowds/pumping up strangers, not as good when I am hitting on girls, as it comes across as try-hard. I am trying to be better about being deliberate in calibrating my energy level to the situation).

Audience: ~800 college-age girls, recent grads/alumni who work in the city, whose undivided attention I will have for 17~18 minutes. I'm rehearsing my talk nonstop before I take the stage in a few months, and expect to rock the TED stage with a powerful talk. Have good friends offering solid feedback on how to fine-tune it.

Lodging: I'm going to decline the free (and so-so) hotel offered by the conference/university, and pay to book a baller-ass oceanfront condo/house for my stay through AirBNB out of my own pocket. Will drive my Porsche convertible there and use that as local transport, instead of flying down and puttering around in a rental.

So - if you're in my situation, what else would you be doing, from an RP perspective?
