I'm only about 4 months into RP and this happened from early Feb this year. I met this 20 year old (I'm 23) exchange student from Italy during some work I was doing with a theatre and from very early on, she seemed very interested and so was I.

Talking/flirting and fucking went on for about 3 months and it was fine, standard stuff. She would constantly want to talk dirty about how she likes it rough. I remember telling her that she talks too much to mess with her as a joke and she says 'Yeah, I do. I'm very good with my mouth, maybe one day I can show you.' and all I can think of is how she had always said she's a very innocent girl and she pretended to act dumb when dirty jokes were made when we had first met.

One night we were at the wrap up party for the theatre performance we were doing and as we sit around the bar and get some food, one guy (a bit older than us, probably in his 40s) who was in the show with us said we'd make a good couple (bear in mind I had no idea she had a boyfriend at this point) then another guy says 'Don't you have a boyfriend?' to her and she completely changes the subject and tells him 'be quiet, you' in a sort of playful, jokey way so I didn't know whether it was true or not (not that it mattered now, we had already fucked multiple times).

I ask her if she does and she reluctantly says some shit like 'Yeah but I don't know if I love him anymore or if it's just the long distance that's making me feel this way', essentially trying to justify what she has been doing by blaming the long distance plus her confused brain and not taking responsibility for it herself.

I carried on doing what I was doing, I didn't really care much as I wasn't in a relationship with her. Over time, she started getting more and more annoying, bringing more drama to me so I eventually ended all contact as I couldn't be bothered any more and she was going back to Italy in a couple of days. After she returns to Italy, she is still sending me messages while probably lying in bed with her boyfriend.
