TL DR; Plate's text speaks more undertones than what is first expressed as an 'innocent text'

Been seeing this plate for 3 months now. She knows we're not exclusive and that I'm fucking other chicks. I've told her she can go fuck other men, but I'm pretty sure that isnt happening (and if it is no big). There's a party tonight that we're both going to. She's seen me hit on other girls at pubs before (there's a local university pub we both frequent), and before the pub she sends me a quick text

'Hey, want to hang out after the pub night tonight?'

Back in my BP days i would have been ecstatic that a girl wants to fuck me. However, this text reveals a lot more than what's simply written.

  1. If I do text back to agree to go with her (prior to hitting the pub), I'm letting her know I think her sex is super valuable and that I don't think I can pull that night. This would lower my value in her eyes.
  2. If I go with her that night at the end of the pub, I'm subconsciously letting her know that I couldn't pull. This option again brings down my value in her eyes, because she'll start to wonder why other women don't want me.

This leaves the only valuable response to do would be to not go home with her regardless of pulling or not because:

A. If she doesn't see me leaving, she assumes I pulled someone. Upping my value and making her work hard to keep me around.

B. If she sees me leaving with a chick, there will be quite a bit of jealously on her part and will make her up her value to me

C. If she sees me leaving alone, I have the plausible deniability of meeting up with someone else, which she doesn't know and will hamster that I am doing just that.

Lessons Learned

  1. Girls have an innate ability to be better at powertalk than men are. They communicate through the subliminal and undertones in words. While my plate texted me to hang out, it speaks so much more.
  2. Even if its 'fake' abundance mentality (i'm a firm believer in fake-it-til-you-make-it), you can still play the Machiavellian dance with her.
