Had to change accounts, but I've been lurking for a long time. Been subscribed to TRP in total about 1.5 years. I've been trying to go on dates a little more often recently. I was extremely focused on my lifting, work, and BJJ. Anyways, on to the date I had last night.

Met a girl through Tinder, and invited her out, she was pretty fun through text and clearly had some smarts, anyone on Tinder will tell you how common the dead fish responses are. She canceled our first meet, but she also is the one who suggested another date for rescheduling, so I felt a bit confident this was going to go well. We met at a pretty nice bar in town and started having a good conversation. The conversation got dangerously close to R.A.P.E which was my fault. I brought up topics that I thought were good, and then realized where they were going. I pulled way back and kinda let her talk for a while… And she ended up diving in head first. It turns out she was a bit feminist/snowflake/social justice warrior. She put a ton of weight into her education, although she has little life experience as of yet, and shit on a bunch of people in her life that were the opposite. She tells me about all her work she has done, which was mostly volunteer work for underprivileged groups. Queue her talking about white privilege, gender fluidity and a bunch of other shit. I realize I am disagreeing with a solid 3/4 of what she is saying, if not more, but I'm tired, and it’s all staying in my head. I realized I had lost control of the conversation and was trying to figure out a good segue into something I can transition into sex, but again, I’m fucking exhausted at this point (not from her necessarily, just work, gym, and other shit). I'm also pissed that I let the conversation get this deep into politics and realize I haven't said anything, so I haven't asserted any frame. So, Fuck it. Right? We're in politics, and I don't want to be a quiet beta bitch. I tell her she is wrong about a few things, and she laughs, thinks I’m joking, and I don’t laugh with her, it’s very clear we are not on the same page here. She brings up a few personalities I enjoy and starts bashing on them. I tell her she needs to listen to their words; they're brilliant people. Our talk about politics suddenly became a weird conversation of her bringing up people I like, shitting on them, me telling her that she is wrong, and her laughing. It was weird, but it was also fun. We leave the restaurant, and I invite her to my place, she says she has to get up early, and I tell her that's fine, and kiss her goodnight. I start to leave, and she stops me for another kiss and asks where I live. She followed me back and had an hour or so of fun before she left.

I realize now, that when sex is on the line, sometimes falling into blue pill/beta shit is the enticing low-hanging fruit. You want to agree and be a white knight, and jump on board with stupid shit that is being said, all in the hopes of a blowjob, regardless of its mediocrity, and some hopefully decent sex. But that’s when you have to give a shit about yourself and what you think, and not let that sway.
