First Mistake: You placed her on a pedestal. I also struggle with this a lot. For this I suggest you take some time to reflect on why you did it. Thanks for all the comments guys. Some of it is painful to read, but it's the painful truth. I'll digest it and will improve myself. Another lesson learned. I've had dates in the past where I felt I had a change to ask her home, but my fear of rejection and my virginity kept me from going the extra mile. I guess there's no such thing as 'better safe than sorry' in these situations. Bottom line: more escalation will yield better results. And what about texting after the date. Keep it simple?
