Tl;Dr: learn how to fucking read body language and apply it, and reading the prince wouldn't hurt either. Oh yeah, frame, keep it.

So me and my roommate went to a bar that our other roommate started dj-ing at, as a guys night/its-a-wednesday-so-fuck-it-lets-just-bullshit. While there, it comes to my attention that one of the servers there was this chick (about 23 and easily a 9) that I beta-orbited a couple blue pill years ago.

Her and I went out and partied a lot back then, but being the bitch I was, never fucked her due to not recognizing her cues and being a general all around pussy.

Fast forward to tonight (just got back and typing on my phone while it's fresh, so to speak, also preface this with solid eye contact and smiling when appropriate) she sees me and runs from across the bar to give me a sideways hug rubbing her tits all on my arms/hands (I was standing with my arms crossed watching tv, she came from my right.) She let's go to give me a proper hug. I rub her back a lil and let my hand linger on her hip just a lil longer.

Her- "OMG, look at you!! You look so different, you look great!"

Me- "yeah thanks, I'm making progress starting my career" (last time she saw me, my hair was 2 feet long metal head type, now I'm in a button down shirt and some chinos)

H- "I was talking to 'mutual friend of ours' to give me your number, I had a question to ask"

M- "obviously..." *gives eye roll and turns away from her (I knew about this before hand from hanging out with said friend a couple nights ago ;)

H- "no, for real *giggle giggle and shows me the saved contact in her phone. Oh I have to introduce you to someone. He's like my man or whatever (huge eye roll and shakes head as she said it. Read: I'm not committed to him and he's just a branch I'm on till I can find better...AWALT anyone?)

She walks away to get him. BP me would have followed to meet this Greek sculpture that's banging this broad. I stood by the bar as she went to bring him to me.

She brings over this doof of a human, a 4.5 at best to say hi. I say a 'hey how ya doin?' and shake hands *not keeping eye contact in order to watch ESPN and turning my body slightly away. She's on the clock so she left him alone. No convo was attempted by me to him, and after 2 min of him hovering around, he wandered off.

That was the last I see of those 2 for the next 45 minutes of us staying at the bar. My buddy and I left when we saw Shaq dressed as a turkey and dancing on tv.... as we're driving g home, my phone starts ringing, and guess who it is.

H- "hey are you out in the parking lot sparking up, I got stuff to match"

M- "nah me and my bro took off, we're golfing in the am"

H- "oh well.. we need to hang out sometime and catch up"

M- "I'm off friday, call me then and we'll see what's up"

H- "oh cool! I don't work till 9pm"

M- "it's like you got the whole day off. Call me then."

H- "alright I'll call you friday"

M- "adios" and hung up

What I learned:

Watch how women move and interpret meaning from that, not based off of what they say

Her "man" saw me as a threat and beta'd away

Take control of your own body language. I had to make a conscious effort to not follow her to meet this doucher

I still have more to learn everyday.

All in all I'm posting it so others new here can hopefully see some nuances that I've been perceiving in body language, and know when "you've got a shot with a chick" also along those lines, after every sentence she made, she would look to me for my reaction/approval, which is something I noticed when i went out with a group of coworkers last night. It was me 4 other dudes, a gay dude and one chick who has probably one of the nicest asses on the planet, but yeah she would look at me after everything she said.
