Summary: Been working at a restaurant as floor staff on some nights to make extra money (tips are great) and had a BB kitchen worker shit test me by insulting my intelligence to other staff in front of me. After ignoring the first few jibes in quick succession to show that I didn't care about his BB opinion I decided to throw down the gauntlet and ostracized him for being so blatantly disrespectful to someone twice his size.

Body: Before I launch into this I will re-affirm the mantra of lifting. This story would not be possible if I didn't have physicality on my side and chose to start lifting. The body confidence and feeling of physical supremacy go very far in the male world even with regards to social interactions. People feel your size with your words, or even when you make direct eye-contact.

At my current place of employ a particular co-worker has expressed his disdain for my personality. I don't really care because he has no worth to me as of yet. However, on this particular evening the head chef (a woman) decided to go home early and let him close the kitchen, making him "king of the shit pile" so to speak. He decided to flex his unfounded authority by calling me stupid to other employees within arms reach of me such that I could hear every word, and he knew it.

I chose to ignore him initially because usually alphas don't give a shit what betas think and this guy reeks of BB. Short, ugly, works full-time in a kitchen and enslaved to a marriage where he works 10 hour days putting no time into his own self improvement and getting zero attention from women.

Ignoring him proves fruitless however, and his blatant disrespect pushes me over the edge after what was a very long and stressful night. I've had enough and decide that it's time to channel some anger towards this little shit.

"You really think I'm going to let you just call me stupid to my face? I'm not some bitch who'll let you run your mouth."

While he's been speaking in a normal in door voice, I choose to raise mine such that everyone in the kitchen can hear the statement I'm making and command the attention of the room (filled only with males). I've made it clear that I will not tolerate such disrespect especially from him.

He pulls back and claims that the head chef who runs the kitchen talks down to me all the time. She's curt to everyone (like all head chefs), she's an owner and she never insults my intelligence. Here's where the powertalk comes in:

"She doesn't talk to me like I'm a bitch... and I can't kick her ass..."

I differentiate between her and him in a multitude of ways such that I dissolve his argument and make it abundantly clear where he stands in the scenario.

I have not explicitly threatened him in anyway. My threat is purely tonal and not physical. I do not escalate my posturing beyond locking eyes with this fuck until I laugh in his face and turn away. I'm not liable for anything since I haven't stated I will physically harm him and proceed to downplay the interaction with laughter AT him to make it seem like a joke (more over that he is the butt end of the joke). The rest of the kitchen breaks into laughter and the scene concludes.

He slinks away and says nothing the rest of the night.

Lessons: LIFT. Fucking Lift. Men are physical beings, we respect physical prowess and form. If someone does something very disrespectful it is prudent to let them know that it is not acceptable. We as men are tied to the realm of the physical confrontation with other men; we do not have a free pass the way women do. We know that all of the laws and courtesies we extend to one another are only an illusion of protection to dissuade people from acting out. If you remind a BB of the reality that you are indeed much bigger than them and that they should not feel safe to test your ire their primal survival instincts kick in and they will back down. Do not threaten them in a way that could get you in trouble with the law, be smart when you command respect.

EDIT: Response has been really mixed with mostly the negative. Gives me something to think about at least. Thanks for the feedback fellas.
