Alcohol plays a big role in sex, and specifically, in straying from one's LTR.

How much do you think this influences hypergamy or cheating or straying?

I'm guessing without it, there would be more conscious decision making. Women would be more likely to think through their decisions. Alcohol allows them to cloud their judgement and even pretend like "it just kind of happened".

Having said that, other things can cloud judgement. Like religious women. It's kind of just fogged over.
