You should throw some of that free time that you have into learning a craft or a skill. Woodworking, plumbing, electronics, basic home repairs, coding/programming.

In three months, you could learn enough Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to win fights with people who don't know BJJ. You won't consider the time you invest into the mats a waste.

If you're still growing be careful of lifting heavy. (from what I've heard from gym junkies) they know of highschool age kids that come in and start lifting heavy then end up short because they caused their growth plates to calcify. I would suggest body weight only, or light weights, until you're at least 17.

I have a PT once a week, working very well for me, I wanted to make sure I had perfect form to avoid injuries. So if you don't take one up that's your pejorative, but if you're getting one as part of the fees, do it - you're not paying extra for one so why not?

Cut out all of the processed shit from your diet, you want vegetables, fruit and meat.

Jog daily too - I jog every night

Learn how to squat, bench, deadlift and row. From someone that is actually strong, like Jonnie Candito, Mike Zourdos or other people that actually compete. Dont listen to the PT that looks exactly like you do and had to pass a test that took him 2 hours of studying for to get his certification.

Run starting strength for 6 months, then do an intermediate program like 5/3/1, madcows or texas method for 6 months. Congrats, after this year you now can figure out your own training and will have a solid base of strength, mobility and muscle that will assist you in whichever physical performance genre you pursue.

Get a PT for 1-2 lessons, maximum.

Before that, read the r/fitness sticky, get starting strength as a PDF, and look up youtube videos by "Ben Pakulski". He's an IFBB bodybuilder who in my opinion properly and simply explains how to train body parts to their maximum effectiveness. (You don't want to be the guy who can bench 250lbs by lifting it out of the rack with a ROM of 5CM before slamming it back and having a chest that resembles someone who has never lifted.)

Next to that, read up on eating and preparing meals.

Depends...I suggest you try and pick up another job, stack that money so you have decent funds stashed away for post high school fun. OR like many have suggested, learn a hobby.
