No, this is expected. There have been surveys (questionaires) done across countries, and women are consistently less knowledgeable about politics (https://www.usnews.com/news/articles/2013/07/02/study-wide-political-knowledge-gap-exists-between-men-and-women). Yet, the ones who understand it least are the ones with the biggest say. Is it any wonder that we are in a mess? Coupled with the fact that women naturally gravitate to the Left (to being taken care of by big daddy state, rather than standing on their own two feet) and the course of civilization since women were given the vote is a given, as is its demise.

No amount of female empowerment campaigns can fix that.

That's because true freedom is quality of choice, not quality of outcome. The countries with the highest levels of freedom see that men and women automatically segregate themselves into different jobs. This isn't a bad thing, the point of freedom is to pursue what is most fulfilling in your life.

But instead of saying "it sure is good we're free enough to pursue our personal interests", feminists and many left-leaning individuals point at this and say "something's wrong here; everything should be 50-50".

What creates real societal distress is when people are encouraged to spend their lives trying to prove a point, and at the end feel embittered since they didn't pursue a life fulfilling to them, but one that fulfilled some quota or pushed some agenda.

I work in software and invest in real estate. Both arenas are male-dominated. I wish I could meet more women while pursuing my passions but they simply don't exist in my domains.

The other night I was at a real-estate investor meetup. It was at a bar, discount drinks, just a meet-and-greet. There were like 50 men there, and a number of them were young guys with crap jobs who knew virtually nothing about investing and have no money but wanted to rub elbows with people who do. They were inquisitive, passionate; eager.

There were two women there. Both older and unattractive.

Nothing prevented more women from coming. Nothing prevents them from doing what we do. They just... don't.

I know a 28-year-old girl with a decent salary who owns her place and has told me before that she dreams of flipping a house before she's 30 but whines about being unable to afford it. She posted a picture on facebook later that evening. She had not joined me at the meetup. She had gone to a different brewery event. They were letting people color. As in coloring books. She posted the picture that she colored.

It's not our "sexism." It's their nature.

Women and Men are different creatures. Some of aspects of us overlap but we are not the same . Men typically are builders so knowing the landscape for our decisions and ventures is critical if you're smart. Women tend to be propelled on the backs of men so knowing men is far more important for them .

I recently have noticed my older sister hanging out with and talking with me more and embracing more of my nerdy and / or masculine interests , then her telling me that she uses my interests as a conversation point with other men .

I actually find it clever and in our society the most valuable and stable position for a woman is that of a wife . Even if he's hovering over the poverty line for some women a man provides them more security and safety than they could ever provide themselves.

How did you get your audience? Did you advertise your YouTube show through Reddit? The whole site is about 3:1 male to female, so that might explain it
