So there's this intern that's been working with us for a few months and he apologizes for everything. He's a well meaning guy but he's kind of abrupt and interrupts a lot, but you can tell it's because he wants to learn a lot and not do things the wrong way. That being said, he very often apologizes for things that make no sense at all to apologize for. So today he apologized for the millionth time about something he didn't have to, and I ask him why he does that, and he told me "well you would understand if you when you went to the school I did that they make you feel bad for anything you ask".

Now I'm far outside of school, at least 12 years now since I went to college, but I keep hearing about how hard they are on men what with the feminist imperative eating men alive, so I thought I would share this.

Can anyone else chime in with their experiences or any stories they've heard themselves? I might be making an incorrect connection, this could just be one annoying guy's experience, but I thought it might be worth discussing. He definitely isn't a liar or disingenuous, you can tell right off the bat, he's an honest guy (possibly to a fault).

At the very least, if I am wrong, I'd like to get the thought out of my head.
