Had you said LoL or WoW there may have been a chance for you. You fap at fucking work? Jesus. Your next 200$ is going to an adjustable dumbbell set to do curls at work. For every hour you spend on games spend 2 in the gym. its a better 20 a month then an MMO. Approach 10 women immediatly you will fail at every one of these interactions but it will start to give you brass balls and eventually wont matter.

If you think we can wake you then you are already off to a bad start. The point of this sub isn't a miracle that will change your life. It is a set of tools and information that you can use to change your life. I'll give you the tips to start RIGHT THE FUCK NOW. First - LIFT (most important thing) spend money on this instead of games. Second - Read the side bar. Have time to play games? You have time to read the side bar. Not just the main posts but the entire side bar. Theory reading and all. If you have trouble breaking away from games think about how many games you have played and what they have really gotten you in life. If the power went off forever right now what do you have? That was my biggest motivator. Third - Find some real life interests. Say yes to all new opportunities and create your own. Find some hobbies. Personal Comments - You don't have to give up games completely cold turkey. That will probably drive you mad. Quit like cigarettes. You played 8 hours a day? This week go to 5. The 3. Then 1. I used to spend 8 hours a day playing games (until I got to college) and loved it. Shit I still love video games with a passion but I don't get the same enjoyment out of them. What made me quit playing so much was realizing how much time I was wasting. When I got my Xbox one and PC and quit playing my 360 I realized how much time was on that 360 that just sat there now. 57 days on MW2, 40 days on WaW, 50 days on BO1, 30 days on BO2, the list goes on. All that time I could have been making myself a better person by lifting, reading, and more. I took all those hours into account and looked at myself in the mirror and realized that if I put that much time into myself I could be the person I really wanted to be. Since then my life has turned around completely.

You should read up on Dopamine. Replace these activities with something more productive. Exercise,maybe even look into being a game developer,Lots of benefits from reading.

At the end of the day we can all tell you what can or Should do,but its up to you to make the change.

I used to be the same way,until I realized playing video games isn't going to get me far in life/help me reach my goals. All Porn did was just make me socially awkward nothing beats the real thing either.

Start by selling your computer and any consoles you own then fill that newly found free time with ANYTHING that makes you better. Preferably start to lift but ANY type of exercise, start reading more, take some classes at a community college and maybe look to go back to school, start a small side business or find a 2nd job (detail/wash cars, find a job in a restaurant/bar/club, go see if your local UPS is fucking desparate as fuck RIGHT NOW).

You have to ACTUALLY want to make yourself better, talk is not just cheap - it's worthless.

Start by trying NoFap. After a few weeks of not busting nuts, you will have enough energy and motivation to start working out. Once the gym becomes a routine, sell your MMO and steam accounts and learn how to make money from your computer and substitue compulsive gaming with making money.

There's nothing wrong with video games. I love them. Some think that you shouldn't, but it's really not an inhibitor.

However, porn can cause issues. I would get off that train.

If video games does something like drain your money and get into your work time or other bad things, then yes, it can be bad. But if it's not doing that, and it's just something you do in your past time, then that's ok. I play games every day... but I get to work every day and I don't spend much money on gaming.

Assuming this isn't a troll post. I've been where you've been before (well, minus the fapping at work.) No amount of external motivation will change you, you need to do that from within. You need to reach a point where you can just quit cold turkey. It may take some working on and you might relapse a few times, but you need to rewire your brain to get pleasure from what you think should be beneficial to your life rather than cheap dopamine rushes.

For me that was accumulating wealth. Instead of spending it on stupid stuff I make a game out of minimizing my expenses, and I track my score with my total investments and net worth. And yes, in the past I've easily spent over $3k on Blizzard games and I have a 500+ game steam collection. It's all sitting in virtual space collecting dust now.

If you have an addictive personality then it's best to just quit cold turkey and replace the things you don't want to do with things that you do want to do. And start now. Delete all your porn and uninstall all your games, there's no reason to wait. If you change your mind then I don't think you'll have any trouble procuring a new collection...

Yeah, you gotta want it yourself dude. Read up on the side bar and read up on monk mode. Check out the nofap redit for motivation. At the very least you gotta stop jerking it to porn. You can still jerk it but do it with out porn.

My Tips: Meditate 10 mins a day. start eating healthier and try to stop eating out altogether if you can. stop watching porn read the shit out of the sidebar start going to the gym or at least running and doing bodyweight exercises
