tl:dr Are visible displays of musculature and strength perceived as "low-class"? How does this affect SMV and game with high-status women?

Background:

After swallowing the red pill, I set myself down the road of making myself a better man. Lifting is vital to red pill success. As with all my hobbies, I got serious and dedicated, and put on some good mass with regular hard work and proper diet. I am visibly muscular, depending on how I dress. It's definitely helped my confidence, my appearance, and my ability to close.

I live in a very visible status environment. I am a young academic in a notable department and split my time between two big name universities. Everyone I interact with on a regular basis went to a top college and grad school, and most come from families with money, went to private schools their whole lives, etc. Due to the nature of our department, we are about 1 degree removed from people clearing 200k+ a year in industry.

Recently, I've been discussing fitness with some of my male friends in the department, and while many of them partake in fitness, it's almost always rowing, running, cardio, triathlons, etc. A number have outwardly expressed that bodybuilding/lifting is a low-class hobby.

I wonder what this means in terms of landing high-status women. SMV is not just physical: it has to do with fashion sense, money, education, and appearance of class/education, particularly among some of the women I'm more interested in keeping company with. Not that I'm having any trouble, but I wonder what this means in terms of Red Pill theory, because there is an apparent contradiction.

So what does TRP think about this? Are the skinny guys blue pill betas whose wives and girlfriends fuck guys that look like me? Or are the hot+ smart + rich girls of the world turned off by the status marker of muscles?
