Diagnosis: there's not enough testosterone in your blood. You're geared to escape conflicts instead of winning conflicts. Get a gym membership and start lifting weights. You need to raise that testosterone and confidence (and actual strength, cause you need that otherwise it's just a bluff)

Don't fight someone over a chick. Sure he disrespected you, and that DOES need to be dealt with but for now, realize that bitch and the drama that follows her is NOT your problem.

You need to learn amused mastery. It's the best way to diffuse a potentially violent situation without resorting to violence. Think Vince Vaughan in wedding crashers. Or swingers.... There is a shit ton of Amused Mastery advice on here as well.

Sometimes you DO need to resort to violence, and you probably would have had your ass beat if you did. If that's not acceptable to you, take MMA and in a year or so, you'll be equipped to handle situations that require violence.

I can sympathize with your situation. You're 5'9 and 150lbs. I'm 6" 205lbs. I played sports my whole life all year round (soccer, baseball, basketball, and track).

While you should "check" someone for disrespecting you, I think you should walk away from no-win situations. That's is in your best for the time-being. Believe me, if I was picking on you and you tried anything, I'd probably just clock you immediately. You could get a broken jaw or temporary amnesia.

Have you ever been in a fist-fight? I grew up fighting, mainly white-boy style after school or at recess, so it didn't take long before someone broke it up. But you no one has your back, you could be risking a true beat-down, kicked in the face type shit. when there is alcohol and girls, people want to show off and other people jump in.

Barring that, the only thing you could do, which is what I did in college, is make sure you have some back and clock the guy first as hard as you can, take the beat-down, and hope people can break it up and get out before the cops come.

I did this once versus the captain of the lacrosse team. I happen to get the first punch in and cut his lip, he was just about to overpower me when my friend jumped in and stopped it. GET THIS.. he saw he was bleeding and ran out of the house party. HERE'S the kicker, he girlfriend immediately put her arm me and was like take me home. When we got there, she was "what do you want to do to me?" Because i was inexperienced, I just titty fucked her and came on her face. BUT the point is, i won the fight and won the girl instantly, she was my trophy. Its was like too automatic for her, she had no problem deserting him and going with me in like 2 minutes...that RPT right there

But you got to be ready, that was probably my 15 fist-fight and I knew I had a senior to break it up. SO if you start standing up for yourself, be ready to fight, because some people are not going to be intimidated by you and at 5'9'' just clock you BE READY.

EDIT: start hitting the heavy bag, learn how to throw a punch without breaking your wrist or fingers..

I was always a small dude growing up. But I was scrappy. My mentality was that I was okay with losing a fight, no matter the size of the guy, as long as I hurt him in some way. I wanted him to think twice about messing with me in the future. So I never allowed myself to get punked.

Being small was my motivation to get big and I developed a passion for bodybuilding. I've been doing it for something like 8 years now and I'm... "big" I guess. I still have the frail kid mentality though, and everyone in my social circle always joke about how built I am but in the back of my head I'm always thinking they can't possibly be serious. So that scrappy little guy is still in me, and I've been told I can come off as extremely intimidating. I haven't had many guys test me the past few years and if they did I shut it down real quick. Most "men" will attack me like a female would; spreading rumors and gossip but would never approach me to my face.

So just don't be afraid to take an ass whooping. Just worry about causing pain to the other person. Just fight with intense violence and ruthlessness. You may lose, but I can guarantee you they won't fuck with you again.

Shit, I'm 5'11-6'-230 pounds, pretty much solid muscle, I use gear as well and if I seen a guy 6'4+ 250 pounds I would think hard if this shit is worth it or not.

Getting into a fight (verbal or physical) over a girl is never the right thing to do. There are other ways of demanding respect from your peers and they don't have to end up with a fight.

The act of throwing and receiving punches over a girl (worse yet, a slut) is surely a personal victory for that girl. After all, she is indirectly displaying her attractiveness to the world by having two contenders punch and kick each other for her attention. However, you will discover that a broken nose, black eyes, and smudged reputation are far worse than having a drunk slut think less of you. Learn this now.

In regards to you backing down with the 6'2" dude. Yes, you should be working out and get ripped (it definitely keeps idiots like him more conscious of your ability to stand up to them), yes, you should learn self-defence for when shit hits the fan, and you should strive to learn a mindset that radiates confidence and assertiveness. All these things - confidence, assertiveness, and physical ability - are some of the cornerstones of masculinity that men AND women will measure you by. Women will be magnetically attracted by those traits, and other men will think twice before disrespecting a man that is in command of his environment.

While violence has its place in situations where you have no other option, it is important to point out that your ability to defend yourself should not be a free pass for you to "fuck shit up" and get into a fight with the first dude that challenges your status. Ideally, the muscle mass you put on during your training will naturally give you the confidence and assertiveness that will make people steer clear from getting into a fight with you.

This is a long comment but if you should take anything away from it, remember this:

When you start getting pussy left and right, some men will be envious and will test your frame in an attempt to shake it. This may be through a display of implied violence (e.g. staring, bumping into you). They do this to elicit a response and hope that you will break frame. Getting into a fight over a girl is breaking frame. A true Alpha does not let some envious Beta at a club get the best of him. Be stoic, be aloof and don't let your frame be shaken by anyone, especially drunk sluts or beta chumps. Start lifting and you will notice that you won't even find yourself in a situation like this in the future because no one will want to fight you.
