This is mostly in reference to LTRs where recovering frame is vital. With plates, you can easily lose frame and toss 'em to the wayside. /u/OccamsUsername has a great series on LTR Game that anyone who's interested in pursuing an LTR should read. Let's discuss maintaining frame, the topic of his first installment in the series.

What I’ve found is that there is a key element not covered in the post. What’s missing is the fact that not only do you NEED to maintain frame, but you MUST MAINTAIN THE SAME EXACT FRAME THAT YOU WERE HOLDING WHEN YOU ATTRACTED THE WOMAN IN QUESTION.

We’ve all heard it. Women aren’t attracted to men in their physical manifestation; they’re attracted to the IDEA of the man.

Pick a frame that suits your lifestyle. Pick one that fulfills what YOU seek as a man. Embody that frame. This is your first task. While you’re learning how to become this man you want to be, enjoy side chicks. Spin plates. Do NOT get sidetracked by any of them. At this point, your frame is not fully grounded. Chicks will be able to pick up on it easily. They won’t tell you explicitly, but they might show it through random shit tests. Handle the shit tests as necessary. Handle them the way the man you want to become would. This will help to shape you into the man you want to become. Practice makes perfect, and experience is the best tutor.

Once you’ve FULLY established this frame, which could take time on the order of a year or more, you will be prepped. You will find a woman who will see your strong frame and will eventually use her girl-game (being sweet/loving/caring) to try to shake it. This tactic will almost certainly work. You will start to think to yourself, “She wants a man who’s a good provider as a stable partner.” Do NOT ever act on these thoughts. These are a result of your evolutionary betabux mentality telling you to settle down. Ignore them. You are not a betabux guy. You are a high value man who is not going to get sidetracked from his goal in life by a woman.

The plates who sense an extremely strong frame will test it through being lovey-dovey with you. They are trying to signal, “Will you change and become a boring betabux provider if I invest in you?” They will judge you accordingly. Do NOT change. Ever. MAINTAIN FRAME.

The most important take-away from this is that the frame you held when you attracted the woman in question is the frame the woman wants you to hold at ALL times. She will do everything in her power through the most subtle of means to shake it. Do NOT fall victim. ALWAYS hold the frame you had when you initially attracted the woman. Never waver. Holding frame through the most subtle of shit tests will drive her crazy for you.

Once she suspects that you’ll change according to her whims, even the most tender and seemingly innocent of feminine antics, she WILL lose some respect for you.

Women who are LTR-worthy are no exception. AWALT. Even the most homely of women have a biological tendency to fuck with you. All women who are interested in an LTR want an LTR with a man who’s strong, dominant, alpha, etc. A man who will be her rock. Hold the frame you had when you initially attracted them.

They will always be attracted to the IDEA of you. This is most important in LTRs where temporary separation is inevitable. What you MUST do is LET HER WONDER ABOUT YOU. She WILL have fantasies about you. Let her indulge in them as she’s away. So long as she is thinking about you (insofar as you are not pestering her and showering her with attention), she will NOT wander. The thoughts she has about you throughout the day will culminate in her mind when another man tries to make moves on her, and she will put up her anti-slut defenses.

You might want to show her how good a provider you are/would be. Again, DO NOT DO THIS. Another benefit of maintaining the frame you had when you initially sparked her attraction in you is that THIS IS YOUR DEFAULT MODE. You will have the MOST confidence in yourself when you act this way. It will show in all your actions.

SHE DOES NOT WANT YOU TO CHANGE. YOU ARE THE ROCK IN HER LIFE. THE ROCK SHE MET THAT FIRST DAY/NIGHT IS THE ROCK SHE WANTS TO CLING TO.

Women want to secure a high-value, alpha male who has lots of options. Never give yourself to them. Always make them work for you. This is what they WANT to do. It shows they’ve found a good mate. But make sure to show adoration and affection as necessary. Reward behavior you like with your approval and validation. Women are approval-seekers at heart. And wondering whether they’re doing enough to please their man and lock him down will make them crazy for you.
