As an Indian, the dating scene here is pretty bizarre compared to western counterpart.

Almost every guy who has completed college while having dated is also still a virgin. Why? No one expects sex out of a relation. Guys are pretty ecstatic if they get to kiss their girlfriend or get anyway physical. Sex is mostly of the table and not a topic of discussion until way into relation (6 months+). If you bring it up, you're a pervert.

It's mostly beta bux guys who blow cash on girls, taking them out and showering them with gifts. Hell, even SOME alphas have it bad, I'd say.

Although it's worth noting the western culture has started to seep in.

The newest book by pretty much the only writer the average Indian reads is titled "Half-Girlfriend." Go read the synonyms if you have time. It's hilarious. (Although, the guy does get the girl in the end - of course, because otherwise the millions of blueballed guys that buy this book would have no reason to read it.)
