Rough weekend, but holy shit it was good. Rough because the instrument of my vengeance is sore. I'm mid 40s, and this is shit I heard about happening in college, but never happened to me back then.

Kind of an off weekend for me.

tl;dr; Lots of approaches, a few dates, drank for free on V-Day, nothing connecting

Thursday: Saw imagine dragons, had 3 people flake even with a free ticket. Sold the extra one and rolled solo, pushed my way up to the front of the show and rocked out surrounded by a ton of cute girls, not a bad night. Too loud and too young to game sadly but it was fun.

Friday: Suited up, grabbed a cheap room in the city and hit a party, made some decent contacts. Ended up having some fun dances with a girl from Kazakhstan, but I lost interest when she wasn't drinking. Ended up passing my number to a cute Chinese girl, and she reached out to me on Saturday so might be something there this week if I can fit it in. Left the party and went up to a bar where I have been running long game on a bar tender there. I hadn't been to this place in probably 6 months so she was stoked to see me, gives me a great big hug, and brings me over a very nice glass of scotch as a gift from her. We make plans later this week, she's flaky as hell so I will believe it when I see it. A free $20 glass of scotch was nice. Hit up one more place, chat up the bartender a cute Thai girl. I read her right, guess her as Thai and order one of my favorite cocktails. She says its her favorite and makes it for me, and says its on the house. She reveals she has 2 kids and my interest in her dies. I finish my drink, hit one more spot and do a few more approaches, turn down a 3 that would like nothing more than to go back with me, and head back to finish up the party which is just down from my hotel. I end up alone but a few free drinks and maybe something later in the week I call it a success.

Saturday: Tinder date, meet for Sangria, she's decent attractive but revels she is a hard core vegetarian and feminist, we finish the 1/2 pitcher, locate to another bar, get very lucky when of her friends shows up and allows me an easy exit (I was just about to finish my drink and wish her a good night). Its raining, so I uber over to my favorite bar, chat up some girls in line, one of course has an expired ID (this is always the case, someone always forgets or has some id issue) I know the manager so I go it, get him and get her and her friends in. I hang out with them for a bit, drink off their punch bowl and stupidly talk to a 22 year old who wants to do nothing more than join the peace core to learn about herself and then go get her masters. I point out that this might not be the path to happiness, and that I see a lot of very angry women in their late 30's at my speed dating events wishing they had not done that. It falls on deaf ears and I exit to go chat with some other friends. After another hour, I call it a night and head home.

Sunday: Friend sets me up with a friend of her's, hoping the rule of a girl will never set you up with another girl hotter fails (it doesn't) thankfully its just a short and cheap thai food dinner date. Not interested in this one due to a host of issues. My usual rule of not doing dinner dates is still strong and I still regret every time I break it. Oh well.

Valentine's Day in the club I had no money, so I was chatting up girls and telling them I'd make out with them if they bought me a drink. Got a few k-closes and had a great time (and saved money!).

Ended the night by taking a girl home, who I'd met earlier and got her number, when I bumped into her at the this other club. Had a good night back at hers, will see her again.
