I am improving more and more. Loving myself. Reading and learning more, making those needed adjustments. Past 6 months have really changed me and I am now the best me I've ever been. And I've just started!
Every day if I make an improvement, Have and experience that is incredible, etc I get a little sad, if only I had been a certain way with all of the girls I dated in the past, all those missed opportunities, this pain and sadness just isn't going away
I have been using it as motivation but now most of those improvement acts have become habit. Motivation is seeing myself in the mirror and going "woah ho ho! Check you out you stud!" Learning to self validate myself and loving it. So now that pain of the past, is just pain.
Anyone else dealing with this and how do you go about handling the pain of reflecting back?
I have been trying to use the advice "OK, that happened, what's the next step?" That has helped.
Let's discuss some other tips and paths of thinking that might help others that aren't in the anger phase but are almost done climbing out of it.
