It is often said that women are better multitaskers, and for some reason men seem to concede this notion though it is utter bullshit.

There are a couple of compelling examples.

1) Starcraft. It is a real-time strategy game of multitasking. One must multitask efficiently and coherently and be tactically and strategically sharper than his/her opponent. This game is dominated by men in the amateur and pro scene. If women were so good at multitasking, I would suspect they would gravitate towards a game that is largely dependent upon it barring social factors.

2) There are plenty of successful men who exemplify the mastery of multitasking. I will stick with one notable character: Elon Musk. (https://www.entrepreneur.com/article/251020). The dude juggles raising children with being the CEO of two massive companies on the frontier of their respective industries (renewable transportation and space technology and transportation).

Whereas women's multitasking encompass a cursory process of juggling simple tasks, men's multitasking tend to be much more complex and involve a trajectory towards a goal. Assuming surgery involves multitasking, what proportion of complicated surgeries are performed by women with respect to men?

All of this being said, the very idea of multitasking itself is a myth, but if we are to interpret it at face value for the ability to juggle different tasks seemingly simultaneously, then men would be far superior to women hands down.

It is just that having a singleminded approach is far more effective than switching between tasks.
