It's hard to tell whether Neil is playing the game and pacifying our detractors, or if he's following the path of many former incels, who are unable to change their thoughts in the same way as they change their approach. My experience of these types is that they're all reformed betas who go full circle, which is why I was critical of Strauss the other day. It's hard to know for sure, and it's even harder to care. Strauss is not particularly relevant to our identity. RP is not parlour games and sleight of hand. It's not peacocking and negging. It's a pathway toward a genuine masculine identity that will fulfil you within and without. The bad news is, the path is fucking hard, and a lot of people will hate you if you prevail.

The only book I've read from Neil is the Game, and I have read a few interviews. I don't understand how people associate him with RedPill, hes everything BUT RedPill.

I mean he even admits at the end of the book that the whole PUA thing was a gimmick to make himself feel more secure and comfortable around women.

I've read The Truth. It's not very good. Want to stay with one girl, cool, stay with her.

But if your argument against polyamory is that you cannot just put three strange girls in a flat and make it magically work, maybe you need another argument.

The whole book reads like "i went on this gym program for whole two months and i'm not ripped, i'm switching programs". He was on a break with ingrid for two years and in that time he tried therapy, love commune, poly, open LTR and swinging. Two years is a short time for trying out even one lifestyle, let alone 5. I think he went through them just to check them off the list, knowing all the time that he wants his LTR back. It's not really honest to the reader.

I'm not saying getting a wife and having kids is a bad idea (at some age). I'd just like it better if he put more work into trying different things instead of just jumping around for a few weeks and changing his mind.

Also, he might have found a nice girl for a LTR and just lame girls for other lifestyles. It doesn't mean that poly or multi LTR won't ever work. Maybe he needs better chicks for that though. In The Game he wrote about mLTR with 8-10 girls at a time, there was nothing about that. Why is that?

I followed Neil Strauss in his early days, and read The Game... I always got the feeling he was a bit of a putz - like a lot of the early PUAs. There were basically autistic guys coming up with tricks and canned routines.

BUT, he was a part of what eventually evolved into TRP. So I thank him for that. Actually, I feel bad for him now, his woman forced him into rehab for sex addiction? You don't get any more Beta than that. I remember in the book, when he met his 'unicorn' near the end, I got a nagging feeling that it wasn't going to go well - because he had no LTR skills. All he had figured out how to do by then was how to get one night stands.

I'm sure he is at least lurking here and I don't get one thing, why he is not condemning us? That could only help his career, remember, men are creating wealth, women are spending it so logically its better to be on good side of women. This ignoring of tRP reeks with something else and I can't quite catch it, maybe he is about to be cucked and divorce raped and will go full red with new book for shock value and $$$ ... ?

Rolling Stone is a feminist flavored rag. The entire PUA scene that flourished between Strauss and Owen Cook in Hollywood was under a heavy feminist umbrella. If you're wondering why RSD's Blueprint Decoded is so fucking long, it's because Owen had to go to hell and back to make sense of social dynamics without stating the obvious: men are better than women. Perhaps this Meatwad clip explains Blueprint Decoded even better.

Something about Hollywood, but I don't think the red pill is really available there. There is being a PUA, and then there's being red pill before being a PUA. If you don't take the red pill before becoming a PUA, your male mother need (see Oedipus complex) is going to come out, you're gonna get a case of oneitis (see Neil's book The Game), and you're going to simp the fuck out and retract every awesome thing you ever did.

Poor Neil, but, his problems are not my problems. He may never get the red pill and he'll probably shame the shit out of it when he reads about it. He got oneitis for that soccer-mom looking guitarist from the uber-feminist band Hole. Lisa Leveridge. That should tell you everything you need to know about Neil Strauss. He upgraded to Ingrid De La O, I'll give him that.

I am reading his new book right now and I bet it would make many TRP'ers squirm... specifically the ones that pine for "the good old days" of traditional Christian-based monogamy.

Just like The Game, his new book The Truth has lots of cool stories and anecdotes, but you'll probably won't learn too much from it.

His new book claims: "If The Game is about attracting women, The Truth is what to do after you've attracted them". Lots of interesting thoughts on non-monogamy (I'm only about half-way through).
