She's just being like a lot of crappy women (AWALT). And while this post is better suited for AskTRP, I'll give you the best advice you're going to hear:

Cut this girl out of your life. Erase her number, block her on FB, don't talk to her again, don't get drunk and call her, don't text her when you miss her or a horny, nothing. The sooner you do that the happier you'll be. Just be thankful you didn't marry her or get her pregnant.

You should also get into the gym if you're not doing that now, and read the sidebar to see what TRP can do for you.

Gonna piggyback onto this comment because it segues into what I had to say pretty well.

I noticed /u/SpaceRunaway mentioned that he isn't really redpilled and it seemed like he just needed a place to vent his frustrations. I see a lot of that happening around here so I wanted to give some advice here to anyone who's just stumbling on the red pill or having a shitty time with relationships.

1) Read the side bar - no matter what you think of the posts you see here - read the side bar. A lot of posters here either miss the point or are deeply in the anger phase (thus missing the point) of what we're all about here.

2) Before you read any more of this sub, I recommend checking out this thread. In it, you'll find at least some answers that you're looking for.

No More Mr. Nice Guy by Robert Glover is going to explain why your current strategy in regards to life isn't working. It might not be an easy read if you're set in your ways - you'll be confronted with some rough truths about yourself. If you want to change, though, you'll eat it up. Don't read anything else (this sub or any of the other books) before you read this one.

After NMMNG, read Models by Mark Manson. It's going to explain what you've been doing wrong with regards to relationships with women and how women actually work (vs. how society wants you think they work), and how to best approach relationships with women with your new knowledge.

3) Do not be lazy. Read every book recommended in that thread along with Meditations by Marcus Aurelius. If you're lazy, nothing will ever change for you because you're a slave to comfort and ease. Get out of your comfort zone, try new things even if they're difficult. Especially if they're difficult.

4) Alongside reading these books, take a good, hard look at your health. Lose that weight. Put on some muscle if you're at an acceptable weight already. People around here say that lifting is step one to TRP, but I disagree. It's reading. How else would anyone here know to lift? The books in that thread will change your outlook on life no matter your opinion on TRP's views of women and relationships. I'd recommend them to the bluest of the blue pills, not to prove to them that TRP is right, but because they're just all great books that will change your life for the better if you put the effort in to make that change happen. Don't neglect your health by being a bookworm, though. Sort your diet out and exercise. It makes you feel better. It helped me keep my sanity when I was going through my hard times.

5) After you've got a plan for your health and you're reading, check out this thread.

I won't go into any more detail because honestly I could go for hours and my message is getting deluded. My point is that we all come here because of an experience like yours. We're all skeptical and some of us are even afraid. For me, this way my last shot. When I say TRP saved my life, it sounds corny as fuck but it's the god honest truth. If you don't know how you feel about TRP yet, at least read No More Mr. Nice Guy, get your diet and exercise in order, and pick up some hobbies (real ones, not video games or watching tv). Even if you're blue pill as fuck when it comes to women, it'll make all the difference in your life.

No, you do not need psychiatric help. This is all normal and natural. It's normal and healthy to regret some things you've said in anger. I have my regrets as well. The key difference is that while I regret saying those things, all of them were true. I had a right to be angry in my situation and, just like you, when enough was enough, I went all out and nuked her from orbit. I said horrible things, but in those horrible things, a lot of truth was mixed in. And I honestly felt relieved the moment I said these things. Ask yourself if you felt the same way when you said what you said.

You do not have anger issues - society has an issue with anger. Society is telling you that the only feeling you should ever feel is "haaappy" but the truth is, nobody can be one emotion, especially such a fleeting one as "happy" for very long, much less all the time. Anger has its place and it is normal. Accept it, feel it for a few days, and dispose of it in healthy ways. Exercise, take up new hobbies, learn something. In my case, I created lots of music to deal with my emotions.

You have two people inside of you. The more rational and logical one that knows nothing could be fixed, and the idealist who wishes things could be different. I wish things could be different for you. I wish they could be different for everyone who ended up here. We all have something in common here - pain brought us here. What the red pill will teach you is that, not only can things be different for you (maybe not your relationship with this particular girl), but they can be better. I'm living better than I ever have thanks to the advice and knowledge here and I fully believe that you can as well.

You'll make it out of this. It isn't as serious as you feel like it is. That's just your emotions acting up and you know it. Exercise, meditate, read books, find hobbies. You'll be fine, bro.

[–]mrmeyhemn1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

you are conditioned to feel like you need her. shes probably dark triad as fuck and you "just wanted to be loved and appreciated". women take advantage of nice guys, they know all about them.

read nmmng as suggested

[–]SpaceRunaway 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That puts things into perspective, man.

[–]unassumingusername74 points5 points6 points 10 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

Why you're the bad guy: She hurt you. This makes her feel bad. Her feels about you are bad. Her feels tell her that you're bad. You're bad and abusive. She's brave for getting out.

This is how women "think".

[–]SpaceRunaway -2 points-1 points0 points 10 years ago* (4 children) | Copy Link

You're absolutely right. The relationship used to be great and she never gave any indication of thinking I was "controlling" until she started doing hurtful things and I called them out. I think it's a method of shielding oneself from criticism. I even apologized when I thought I went too far.

I wouldn't say all women think this way though

[–]mrmeyhemn2 points3 points4 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

all women think this way. we call it the "hamster". awalt.

[–]unassumingusername72 points3 points4 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

See the recently posted thread, thinking that NAWALT is catastrophic to the point that it is prudent to assume AWALT.

[–]KungPaoEllenTheFist2 points 10 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

I wouldn't say all women think this way though

Then you are doomed to repeat this cycle over and over until you would say so. AWALT. Stop searching for unicorns. They don't exist.

[–]NimbleStorm 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Enough women are like this to the point where you can safely assume all women are like that.

Not all turds are brown, but... Not all cars have wheels, but... Not all men have balls, but...

I hope you get my drift.

[–]mrmeyhemn8 points9 points10 points 10 years ago (14 children) | Copy Link

you are the bad guy, you try to please her and that disgusts them.

you have just experienced how a woman deals with beta men, albeit her new guy may also be beta, hes not as beta as you.

want to know what the deal is? read the side bar.

[–]SpaceRunaway -2 points-1 points0 points 10 years ago (13 children) | Copy Link

I fail to see what makes me "beta" here.

[–]Major_Pancakes7 points8 points9 points 10 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

Your post will most likely be removed, as it doesn't conform to the thread format requirements (see sidebar). However, /u/mrmeyhemn is inferring that you have beta qualities by the fact that she found someone else she wanted to fuck outside the relationship. If you were better than the new guy she found, hey hypergamous nature would prefer you to him.

[–]SpaceRunaway -5 points-4 points-3 points 10 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

It's not like I didn't fully enjoy being in an open relationship myself.

[–]Life_Can_Be_Simple10 points11 points12 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You should of left her when she brought up the open relationship. That's what makes you beta.

[–]trinitys_dildo3 points4 points5 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Not nearly as much as she did.

Search this sub for "open relationship" there was a great post recently about how an open relationship benefits the woman way more than the man

[–]Hoodwink3 points 10 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Open relationships don't really work unless, as a man, you have women throwing themselves at you. This means money, fame, and performance (music/acting/whatever). (Or just gym-rat body with a passable face.)

What's the point of an 'open relationship' that's different from a 'fwb'? Kids/Marriage/Emotions? Let's pretend emotions. This is a time-sink. A time-ho. You can usually get a better quality girl by just pursuing a better job/career/status or giving your emotions in a relationship with another girl.

Honestly, you just sound like a beta fool who got played by girl. Open relationships that aren't by rich/famous/powerful men are just a way for a woman to try to get alpha bucks and beta bucks at the same time - this is why sex-positive Feminists love that shit. The difference is that that all the women in an open relationship with the high-status man are on equal footing; the beta in the open relationship with a slut is the sucker.

You wouldn't be so hung up over this girl if you were truly swimming in pussy. You should only have open relationships if you actually are swimming in pussy. In Poker, they have a saying, "if you can't spot the sucker, than it's you."

[–]mrmeyhemn6 points7 points8 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

-girlfriend of over a year treats me like garbage for months

-flakes on most of our plans the month before I'm going to be graduating college and potentially barely ever seeing her again

-never wants sex but convinces me into an open relationship so she can fuck her friend (as far as I could tell, maybe there was another guy)

-sees him all the time but struggles to let me see her once or twice a month

-doesn't listen when I politely share my feelings or ask her what the deal is

you fail to see what about any of this makes you beta, and all of this is what makes you beta.

[–]fuckin_retard7 points 10 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

You LET her treat you like garbage for months. You should have called her out on her bullshit the first time she pulled it. You have to teach people how to treat you. If they don't comply they can GTFO.

She convinced you to let her fuck other guys. She sees them more than she sees YOU. Come on, seriously?

You SHARED your feelings. Don't ever do that again with a woman. They don't want to fucking know your feelings, unless those feelings are: Happy, stoked, horny, excited, in control, or stoic. They don't want to know that you're depressed, or nervous, or anxious, or worried, or regretful.

[–]bea5tly5 points6 points7 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Smelling a troll post here... (shifty eyes)

[–]evileddy3 points4 points5 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

-girlfriend of over a year treats me like garbage for months

You let someone treat you this way and did nothing about it.

[–]Trpidation1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Read "No More Mr. Nice Guy!", it will explain it.

[–]jerseynumberseven 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Deadbedrooms and offmychest. I suppose since you're specifically asking for it mods wont delete this.

[–]averageredpill2 points3 points4 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This is a hard next. The girl doesn't respect you anymore.

Think with me, if it was anyone else treating you the way she do what would you do ? Now remember that she's not different from anybody else in the world. AWALT.

Just cut her off from your life, no talk, no nothing. I know that you might not have this courage in you yet, but remember that you are better alone than with someone belittling you.

EDIT: oh and about the open relationship, sorry bro she already did it. And how I know that ? You sound young and that's the kind of behavior that most young girls are having when they cheat.

[–]Kim_Jong_illuminati 2 points3 points4 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

If I were in your shoes I would just drop it and move on. You're wasting your time. I would have said the same thing if you only listed one of those bullet points instead of like 10 of them.

[–]kaleidude3 points 10 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

I'm sorry for that whole mess. But she's gone for good and you didn't go through marriage, years of emasculation, divorce... you paid a small price for the truth! Now you can truly focus on yourself.

[–]dicklord_airplane1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

you aren't the bad guy. lots of people (not just women) will insult you and insist that you're evil when you don't give them what they want. don't expect people to act or speak rationally when they are in an emotional frenzy.

[–]iLLprincipLeS0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

the fact that you did not even read the first fucking post on the sidebar alone would make it not worth a response, but i guess some users are just genuinely too nice seeing that you got some good advices anyway.

Been there. The worst part is the 'her getting mad that you called her out'. Thats the thing, you simply can NOT reason with them. And if you are like I was when that happened to me then you should know that there is absolutely no chance you would ever convince her that she was in the wrong, even when she objectively was.

When they are like this, even when what they did was blatantly wrong, even when they know it, even when its something that someone SHOULD be reprimanded for; she will NOT listen to reason, ever, nadda, zip, zilch, not from you. Every rational bone in your body will tell you to get that last word in, to atleast make her understand she is in the wrong. She will twist your words, you will always be the bad guy(again, even in a situation where you are bleeding out and dying and she is holding the smoking gun). Yes, its absolutely mind-boggling and trust me its not exclusive to her, many partners do that thing in their heads where they will ALWAYS rationalise themself as the victim. You are not the bad guy, we know it, you know it, trust me NOTHING you will ever say will convince her of it even though it is the objective truth. I'm sounding like a broken record but once more, you can have video tapes, DNA samples, eye witness testimoney, all the undeniable evidence and she will still rationalise that you are the bad guy. Its genuinely one of those situations where literally walking away is the only way to win.

Also, dont look back on any singular situation and think "If only I had done X instead of Y back then", a girl like that will always find a reason to blank you. Heck, if she told you that you should have been more 'X', had you been more X before that situation then I garuntee you she would instead be telling you to act more 'Y'.

Working out after a situation like this is weirdly exhilirating for the uninitiated, its like a high that comes out of nowhere.

She's a woman, she already has a pussy, so she doesn't really need for you to be one too.
