To what end? What does her confession do that your perception and self-awareness did not already provide you? Trust your competence and make your decisions in life, including about women. Don't chase validation from a woman like that. You know what is going on.

She's admitted one offence, and it's surely only one of many, of which the admitted offence is the least.

If you press the issue, she's likely to "trickle truth" you.

Basically, if you make it very clear that you don't believe it was "just a kiss", she may admit to "the next level"-offence she committed, hoping that it'll "satisfy" you and that you'll forgive her. Lol.

So, if you decide to press it, stick to your guns. She'll likely pull everything in her hamstering and shaming arsenal to misdirect and stop you, but you know better than to fall for that shit.

Addendum: Ah yeah, and as to why she said that; if she admitted to kissing her ex without any prompting, I would conjecture that it's either because she sensed you were on to her, or that she's trying to make you jealous and show you that she's "got options". Or both.

My gf kissed a girl once with "I was thinking about you!" comment. She also kissed a guy a couple months in. I was pissed, I'm still pissed when I think about it. I did forgive her but I'd give her a hard time whenever she even hangs out with them now.

As most guys have pointed out already, she's just a plate. Her "but I was thinking about you" comment is a ploy to make you jealous, possibly even to manipulate you into committing. That statement alone is a rationalization. Whether she's trying to rationalize what she did to you or to herself and using that to hide the truth (did she fuck him, has she been whoring around, etc) is irrelevant. You're wondering if you can trust her, but you already know you can't. So you either drop her as a plate if you're concerned about your physical health in regards to what she's catching from other people or you simply cut down her time with you as "punishment".

Amused mastery and dread game are in order now. She's making a play for control.

Man, she's not worth your time. If your skilled enough and in control of your shit I would just try to bang her a couple times but nothing more. And if that isn't working just get her out of your life. You don't need to justify shit to her or anyone else. Cut. Her. Out....... Completely. Good luck
