In light of Clint_Redwood's great post I thought I'd do my own post regarding my progress, daily battles and express some of my thoughts.

DISCLAIMER: I've lurked on TheRedPill for 18 months. First few months were just reading the communities post and trying to internalize the lessons being taught.

I have not read the side bar in its entirety but continue to read/study and learn from the side bar. There is a lot of great content there.

I used to be what I consider and this community would consider a very beta man. I would bend over backwards to try and woo a women I have an attraction too. Only to become more and more depressed when nothing ever came to fruition. I was constantly put into the friendzone.

I used to have severe depression and was drugged to a point of being catatonic because I also have epilepsy. I hated it and after reading TheRedPill for a few months decided it was time to do something or just give up completely. I went with the former.

Clint_Redwood is completely right. Nothing will happen overnight. Every day is a battle between my weak tendencies/depression and my will to achieve greatness.

I actually still have quite a few beta tendencies that I am slowly killing. Every day is slightly better, brighter and more productive thanks to this community and my hard work. I thank each and every one of you for helping pull me out of that abyss of depression. I am eternally grateful.

I have started by working on myself. Not really trying to plate or game any chicks yet. Although a few have landed in my lap. Some were successful some were not. I still have a plethora to learn from this community.

Info when I started to swallow the red pill:

  • 28 yrs old when I started
  • 6’8” tall
  • 155 lbs
  • No hobbies unless weed and video games count
  • Had not been laid in over 2 years
  • Constant debilitating depression and regret. Always looking backwards not forwards
  • Very little physical activity
  • Very small social group who still are very beta
  • Just surviving at work. Not trying to achieve greatness
  • Lots of blaming others for my faults
  • Lots of blaming my parents for my shitty childhood
  • Would sleep until noon every day and stay up to 1 or 2 am playing video games, smoking weed. (I work from home)
  • Drank 3-5 large coffees daily

Positive Changes since:

  • Bought myself a motorcycle. I grew up riding motocross and missed it so much. There is honestly nothing like a man and his motorcycle. It is just pure freedom. Twisting the throttle as you lean in and out of turns is almost orgasmic in itself! A very close second to sex in my opinion
  • Starting eating to the point of being uncomfortable every day. I have a ridiculously fast metabolism and now eat 5000 calories a day.
  • Now weigh in at 208 lbs
  • I have been teaching myself Acoustic guitar and it is fucking awesome. Got calluses on my fingers and I love it
  • Gave up Internet at home (Still need it for work though)
  • Gave up cable TV
  • Gave up video games
  • Gave up Marijuana
  • Gave up cigarettes after 15 years of smoking
  • Joined Krav Maga (One of the best decisions I have made in many years)
  • Started working out at home. Crunches, leg raises, push ups, squats (No weight yet), calf raises and plank.
  • I read for 1 hr minimum every day. Sometimes RedPill content sometimes History.
  • I listen to Dan Carlin when I am really bored, who is amazing at describing historical events
  • Rode my motorcycle solo half way across my country. Doing a loop of North America in the summer by myself.
  • I now take pride in my work. Try to make the company I work for very successful.
  • Sleeping 8 hrs daily.
  • Get up at 6:30 am daily
  • Drink 1 Coffee daily. Sometimes none.
  • Stopped taking my epilepsy meds because they fucking destroyed me mentally. I don’t care if I have a seizure, I care if I am happy. I was not happy while being numbed by meds. (I’m sure this is going to be a controversial point)

With each success my depression has got smaller and smaller. Depressions strangle hold on me is close to non existent now.

Every day is a choice to be happy, a choice to succeed, a choice to improve myself. I see women and men looking at me differently now. I no longer feel like life is futile. Life is fucking awesome and will only get better from here on out.

I’ve attached 4 pictures of my physical progress. First 2 are from the day I decided I had enough and fucking changed my life. The next 2 are from today. I think it is time for a cut to build some muscle tone. I could easily hold 230 lbs or 250 lbs with my stature but it’s about doing it right.

Anyways this is getting to be a book.

So thank you Clint_Redwood and thank you TRP community. Without this community I would not have realized that my life IS my fucking life. That life is worth living and enjoying!

No matter what BS has happened, I have full control over what WILL happen tomorrow or the next day or 5 years from now.

So thank you all so fucking much!

I’ll leave you with a quote that helped me immensely

“Change your thoughts and you change your world”
