I'm struggling with this myself currently. I broke up with a nearly six-year LTR on Friday who still lives with me. We moved to this area a year ago, and I don't really have anyone I can talk about this sort of thing with face-to-face.

I'm going to the gym with a couple different dudes, but that's really all I've got. One's strictly a co-worker, so it's not an ideal outlet for human interaction.

I'm trying my best to get the fuck out of the apartment while she's around, but it's only been three days. Right now I'm relying on college buddies, my dad, and this forum to work through things while I'm not at work or the gym.

Theres another verse in Proverbs that says basically "so a gold ring in the nose of a swine, so is a woman with no discretion"

There's a great podcast by a guy named Tai Lopez. He brings this verse up all the time. He often follows up by suggesting a 30% rule. Spend 30% of your time with people below you ( in age / status / whatever) 30% with your peers, and 30% with people who are above you. Bottom line is we are social animals, and your fellow man is your greatest resource.
