The Wall mainly applies to single women. In the past a woman would already be married with a family long before the wall, and this would give her lasting value as a loyal wife and mother. However, feminism has lied to the modern generations of women by telling them they can "have it all." No, you cannot have it all (career and family) without one, or both of them suffering.
As far as intellect goes, the more intelligent the woman the more likely she will share her opinion and assume she is correct. While there are no doubt smart women in the world, they are still emotional creatures who are unable to remain objective in a heated discussion. This is exactly why the concept of honor is reserved strictly for men and why we advocate ignoring 99% of what women say. Intelligence never really factors into the equation for mating with honest RP men.

hypothetical fully Red Pill world

the world IS red pill, by definition. red pill is about understanding reality AS IT EXISTS.

blue pillers are just deluding themselves. there would be a hypothetical blue pill world, not red.

What keeps these women believing they have enough of a place in society to stick around

there's more to life than sex. the wall is about sexual value. hitting the wall for a young single woman is devastating because for a lot of them, that's the only non-masculine value (work, career) they ever had.

what do you end up with when a young professional girl hits the wall? a MAN WITH A VAGINA.

The have plenty of value to society and their loved ones. But older women have far less sexual value to men seeking mating partners.

I truly believe the propaganda they get from their television is literally fuel for them. Think about it, there are so many girl power shows that endorse the single female and shame men just to meet viewership levels. Women who hit the wall genuinely believe that society and men should grovel to them for their affection. Thats why women who hit the wall start acting like a monkey with rabies. They realize that their tv lied to them, but their hamster makes to continually rationalize that the fantasy world portrayed on tv is how its supposed to be.

Here's where I get stuck. I often see two major trains of thought surrounding women- that their value is directly tied to their sexual attractiveness, and that most men do not value women's intellect over their physical appearance (I've been looking around to see anything that negates this, so please correct me if I am wrong here). If women know this and have internalized this, then they know that after they hit the wall, that they have no value in society.

That's certainly an odd way to look at it. Their Sexual Market Value tends to crater, but that's hardly having no value to society. That special privileged part of her life that she took for granted is now over, but she is still free to contribute to society at whatever she is capable of, and is likely a much loved wife and mother.

It's just that now she has the same SMV as that neckbeard virgin dweeb in the IT department. What keeps him tied into society?

He hasn't even known the loving touch of a woman, Post Wall Red Pill woman has leveraged her youthful beauty into the love and devotion of a good man and an amazing family. If these truly didn't mean much to her, she has knowingly sacrificed them to do something else she wanted to do. She just doesn't sit around at 40 wondering where all the good men went and feeling like she's been lied to. She knew what her true options were, and made the best of them.

This sounds like a horribly narcissistic point of view. You were granted a wild ride of youth and beauty by society, just because the world doesn't revolve around you anymore doesn't mean the world now lacks meaning. This would be the time one would start giving back to society for all the gifts you received.
