tl; dr:

This theory emanating from the redpill RAND Corporation (a military think tank where the math genius game theorist John Nash worked) has been the core framework behind the 80s economic liberalization (pro-capitalism). It basically says that every individual will act in its own interest regardless of what they claim they will do.

It is used in other fields as well such as biology and law, and it has been used as a intellectual weapon to discredit communism and socialism and can sure as hell be used and we use it every day to discredit feminism and discern the actual truth in the the social and sexual reality of today's world. Rational Choice Theory is Red Pill itself because it explains how every individual (for example, a woman) is a psychopathic rational actor who tries to maximize his/her gain and not an enlightened angel like feminism purports them to be.

Some leftie guy who wrote a book criticizing the RAND Corporation had this to say about it: "RAND's rational choice theory is the Matrix code of the West". It is the achilles heel of the blue pill feminists/lefties because it embarrasses them and explains their sham worldview and that's why they made so many books criticizing it as well as game theory, but it works and describes the machinations of individuals and society flawlessly.

USA/West have the richest economies in the world because they applied red pill principles behind the RCT in their economic policy, resulting in free growing economies that leave third world in the dust. TRP is applying these principles in our personal life.

I thought people who didn't know this already would find it interesting that the roots of the red pill were already conceptualized in academia, and applying this framework into one's thinking can lead to clearer thinking and more winning

The Oligarchs take most all the wealth that is created.

Since globalization went in high gear over the last 50 years the actual relative wealth of the ordinary man in America has not improved at all.

"The People" are now saddled with nearly $20 Trillion in debt... to the Oligarchs who have no inhibitions about abandoning the US whenever necessary.

The better way to look at it is pump and dump. The Oligarchs only value this system in so far as they profit from it.

In each one of these well crafted boom and bust cycles when the bubble pops the "beta slaves" are stuck holding the bag while the Oligarchs are positioned to buy things at reduced prices... because they can... because they have cash. The ordinary man runs out of cash in a bubble popping because he lacks capital.

The cycle really drives people towards their own ruin.

One can "seem" to be rational, but not be wise. To be wise means to know you have a choice and then to choose the option which does not trap you. Most of the decisions people make reinforce their addiction to the state (ruled by the Oligarchs) which means you become a better producer (beta slave) or consumer (hedonistic indulgences) so it all binds you more and more to slavery.

Red Pill is better seen as the escape from the cycle of addiction and slavery.

...so your spin might be going in the wrong direction.

Take MGTOW for instance.

That's a way of becoming indifferent to the desires and to streamline your life to only satisfy your basic needs. Monk mode is one element.

To be Alpha is to be free of the provider / consumer cycle and do whatever your masculine desires direct you to do and that's very different than the emotional indoctrination behaviors.

I think I agree with your main point/conclusion but I have to nitpick the debt issue.

That $20Tn is not really intended to be repaid. It doesn't function like an overdraft or personal loan that a natural person might have. The only similarity is the basic mechanics of interest payments.

I've seen the youtube videos describing the functions of central banks and govt borrowings. They contain a few facts, a ton of misinformation, and horrifically flawed conclusions. And so, a very poor understanding of how the system works and highly sub-optimal personal outcomes as a result of this misunderstanding. The blogs and youtube videos promoting this broken world view tend to directly benefit from retail purchase of gold. So there is your motive.

Unless readers have a couple of years to devote to the field, just jump to the conclusion of escaping the borrower/consumer cycle.

The point is not that it is ever repaid, the point is that power is taken from "The People" and given to the Oligarchs.

We are beta slaves being harvested by the Oligarchs and capitalism combined with global banking is the mechanism where power is transferred.

If you go back to the Founding Fathers their main fear was that the "Old" Oligarchs of Europe might try to get themselves planted into America and take over and the Constitution actually made central banking illegal.

But over time the "eternal vigilance" faltered and the bankers snuck in. (with assassinations here and there as required)

The Federal Reserve system is something like 100 years old now, so the robbery is well under way and we will never free ourselves again.

There are cuckservatives who are in complete denial (or corrupted) to accept this state of affairs and the prgressives are openly in favor of it. Basically both sides are in on it.

All I'm saying is don't equate Red Pill which is about waking up with systems designed to emotionally indoctrinate us and put us asleep as good beta providers and hedonistic consumers.

Incoherent conspiracy theories worthy of Karl Marx with grandiose populist catch phrases and do not stand up to scrutiny. Per capita GDP has increased tremendously in the past 50 years although most of the productivity gains go to the most highly educated and the cognitive elite. Solution for that could be EU style democratic socialism or basic income, or removal of real estate building restrictions which increase real estate prices. People at the top are not oligarchs, they are value architects who took risks to get there. Another name for a producer and consumer would be civilization, and beta slave and hedonistic indulgences are unnecessarily offensive terms for work and play or effort and pleasure.

$20 trillion debt was mostly accrued by the incompetent Obama administration to buy votes and the money goes to poor people as transfer payments not the oligarchs.
