Yea, she gives him a light slap. That doesn't mean you knock the bitch out. One of the things this sub advocates is being a rock and holding your frame. Knocking bitches out in "self-defense" when they slap you is just about the exact opposite of holding frame in my opinion. Unless its fucking Ronda Rousey coming at you there is really no reason to be full force swinging at bitches. If a girl has the nerve to use physical force in an argument or whatever then she's a psycho and you need to next her right away. Just peace the fuck out, but don't go roundhousing her in the face. That's not cool and is the ultimate loss of self control in my opinion.

But then again I'm new here and have limited experience with applying RP theory in real life so what do I know.

Look...just because this is a man v. woman situation doesn't mean Ray Rice is automatically right. Yes, I get it, you're tired of the feminist double standard. They jumped on this before the video came out and it blew up. But the video did come out, and Ray Rice did 100% of the violence. If she was punching him, fine, but she wasn't.

You are a male. You should be rational and objective when reasoning. An NFL player decking a girl who isn't attacking him is not ok, and he should be disciplined.

Now, I do agree that it's bullshit that his career is pretty much over because no one will let him on the team due to terrible PR (unless he goes to some "rehab" shit or something). Saying he is acting in self defense just makes you look stupid though. He was not physically threatened by her..he's a fucking football player.

At what point did she come at him violently? After he hit her in the face the first time while she was trying to push elevator buttons? Also it wasn't America's decision... I'm not even sure what she would have to apologize for? She didn't strike him. Its one thing to not take shit from a woman, but you don't stick her in the face twice, the first time while she isn't even looking, and then again because she took the one step it takes to cross an elevator.

Before this video came out I thought maybe she had gone crazy on him and was swinging on him and he just couldn't get away from her and de-escalate the situation. But after seeing this video he should be facing criminal charges. The NFL and his team aren't banning him to be white knights, they are because he clearly has no self control and whether he hit a man or woman that was criminal.

People are saying he spit on her at 0:08. Can anyone confirm? It could be that, or it could be he did a playful "boo!" just screwing around and she slapped him with the back of her hand.

edit: looks like he spit on her, yup. that said, what you don't see is that she spit on him first before they were on camera. she admitted as much and publicly apologized for her part in everything.

She smacks at him in the hall at 0:10. Then at 0:24 he appears to push her away from the buttons and give her an open handed slap. In response to that she charges him, but it's a pathetic girlie charge that is obviously no threat whatsoever. The final blow is at about 0:28.

It's hard to say from this choppy security video. To me, it didn't look necessary for him to really hit her. To me it looks like he hit her because he didn't like what she was communicating with her words and body language, not out of self defense.

Real girls aren't anything like the bullshit female government agents on TV, who can take a man in a fistfight. In real life, absent a weapon, a woman attacking a man has about as much chance of actually hurting him as a rodent attacking a cat.

This guy lost 45 mil + all the hard work he put in to being one of the best in his position because he let his emotions get the better of him and didn't hold frame.

And you can bet that they will give him a ridiculously severe punsihmebt because of the backlash they got by giving him two games when this thing first hit the media.

The lesson I take away from this is always hold frame. Always.

This guy deserves to be in jail. I could understand if Jay-Z clocked Beyonce's sister. But this is just a sociopath who punched his girlfriend and showed little to know empathy afterwards.
