As much as I feel enlightened by TRP I think the main point; and the one most subscribers take away from this sub is WHAT YOU WANT.
Take what you want (from the side bar, the posts, comments and discussions) and ignore the noise. Yes the side bar material is controversial but that's the point; this sub is meant to provoke thought and discussion.
This sub doesn't needs defending. Either you subscribe to the ideology or you don't. There is a physiological, historical and scientific basis to some of the ideas here (Darwin's come's to mind) but the fact remains that TRP is heavily based on sexual strategy. The focus is on enlightening men on their potential; by empowering, informing and creating constructive discourse.
It's nice that you took the time to post this but in reality if you agree with the information you've highlighted than sexual strategies are the least of your worries. TRP is internally focused; so that you become the strongest possible manifestation of yourself.

Too much to legitimately refute, good job OP, first time I've actually seen someone bring criticism to the red pill without 'wow such logic very doge' or 'get at me so alfalfa'.

Its not even that I want to see RP trolled or disagree with the RP stance. Just that I do agree with them but then having stuff like this in their core philosophy to me does not do them any favors. I know fuck what I think, I am just a woman. But there is something between supplicating beta and extremist sexist that really does make sense and is a really valid philosophy for men to have in today's world. I see many women agreeing men are not treated well. And not in the same way MRAs go about it. Its deeper than the laws. It's the dynamic in relationships too. Does that mean though its OK to say date rape doesn't exist, or that men should marry the women they rape, or than a woman's desire to not have sex with a man is an annoying preference that gets in the way..
I don't know because on one hand I agree with RP and RPW and then stuff like this always comes up. And the answer is oh Not all men think this. Or RP isn't about that. Or that its just men's way of coping with anger. Honestly it seems like the male form of hamstering. How about some men just honestly come out and be really straight up. If you're red pill, you don't believe date rape is real. It doesn't happen . that's it, no its ands or buts. If you don't believe that you're not really RP.
On the other hand if its not part of the core set of beliefs why the fuck is it in the sidebar? It just distracts the readers of RP from the signal. Is the signal really that men should be taught that date rape isn't a real thing?

Oh...uh? Not really. I like some of the content here because I used to be a shitty person to my ex. Now I wasn't as bad as some of the women these men have dealt with. But I found a man I love a lot and I don't want to make the same mistakes. Since I found RP (but mostly RPW) I've become a better woman so to speak. But at the same time I can't come out and say I like the philosophy exactly because of the content in the sidebar you described.
TRP and TRW works for some people. Not all people. If you want a domineering asshole who is okay with violating you if you say no, that is your fucking choice. But STOP saying it's "biotruthes", or that all men and women are like that because WE ARE NOT!!!!!!!! GET THAT THROUGH YOUR THICK SKULL OF A BRAIN!! Just because YOU like something doesn't mean eeryone likes that. Is that so hard to understand?
I thought you made some decent points but I never said any of that. I really agree that RP isn't for everyone, for example very feminine men. But for men who are neither feminine nor exactly domineering rapists I feel like RP could help them stand up for themselves against women. Sure rape, physically violating someone who is not as strong as you and cannot defend herself, is abhorrent and shouldn't be advocated by any group of people. But that doesn't mean that women who manipulate men emotionally or use sex to maintain power over a relationship (by withholding it in order to to use it to get something they want) aren't also wrong. I don't see a problem with men who don't want to be in a powerless position because society is so vehemently against abuse against women but completely mute on any abuse against a man.

Actually, I was saying that at some point I began asking myself if I was these things, and trying to be introspective. And my conclusion was that, inevitably, I must exhibit these traits at times due to the fact that I am human and therefore am flawed.

Actually, this is a logical statement. Mistakes are only made when the person who is making them is unaware that they are mistakes - other wise they would not make these mistakes. Unless they are a sociopath.

I am very physically weak, but I do not believe I am completely unaware of myself. But I believe as a human we are prone to lapses in judgement at times and are easily lulled into a false sense of security in ourselves, and that at times it could be useful to question ourselves and ask ourselves how we can improve. Not because we are inherrently bad or broken, but rather, because we are not perfect, ideal godlike beings who never make mistakes. That would be wonderful...I do not lament over the fact that I am not that way, but I would lament the fact if I were so self secure that it would be impossible to pursue any form of self improvement what so ever.

I think you're being really irrational right now and spewing insults at someone who is explaining herself in a very respectful, cognizant way. She sounds much more self aware than you.
It takes courage to own up to our flaws and admit that maybe we can be immature and selfish. I'm not saying everyone is, but this woman is taking responsibility for these things and trying to better herself. And you're being very disrespectful and defensive for absolutely no reason.
