I feel I need to share these horribly 'nice guy' mannerisms that I have which I find difficult to shake.

Firstly when talking to people I find myself too often saying "Yeah hahah," even though the person may have made a good point, I'm not adding anything to the conversation other than I approve of said statement. This really bugs me because I do it a lot. Too much.

But what really pisses me off is that when I'm uncomfortable, I default back to weird nice guy mannerisms. There was this really obnoxious woman in a bar the other day, my friend was trying to game her and she was pulling the old feminist bullshit, I was pretty uncomfortable at this point because she was making a scene and she looked at me and for some fucking reason I smiled and said "Hey, you alright?" It made absolutely no relevance to what was going on in that particular situation and just rolled my eye's back and said to myself "Not again!"

I remember doing this a while back when I had success with a lady and in the morning I walked past her going to the bathroom and I accidentally let my guard down and said "Hey, you alright?" AGAIN! It's so fucking annoying. I could see my frame instantly became structurally flawed in her eyes, sure I picked it up again afterwards but I would rather free me from this shit.

This kind of stuff is hard to break. I guess it comes with practice but I think part of the battle is highlighting your weaknesses and exposing them like this helps solidify them in my mind.

However, I would be keen to hear how you people start to reprogram yourself after being indoctrinated with mr nice guy from such a young age.
