This example comes from a prominent Russian author/philosopher. He was recently on a radio talk show where he was offering his viewpoint on the current situation with the elections in France. As he was mid-thought, the interviewer consistently bombarded him with worthless little interjections to break his train of thought. After a few minutes, he had just about enough and let her know to cut it out. She persisted, maintaining that he was in her studio and that she would ask the questions. Mikhail Veller loses his shit by tossing the mic and whipping his cup across the room, calling her a useless bitch and walks away. http://bit.ly/2q0UQJK Notice the smile on her face.

Post interview: He was criticized for insulting a woman and losing his cool. His response: This person purposefully riled me up and is a psycho-sadist. She cannot be compared to a woman. This situation is not the same as an interaction between a gentleman and a woman, as the reaction was asymmetrical. You can clearly see that I was enraged, whereas she was delighted.

TLDR; A famous Russian author maintains frame, after whipping a cup across the room, by pointing out the double standard of treating all women as equals when some are sadistic POS.

Edit: Okay, I see your guys' point. She definitely broke his frame in the actual interview. My understanding is that after the interview, he maintained frame by not apologizing and by unmasking her malicious personality. Should be titled "maintaining frame AFTER losing one's shit"
