It's not quite "modern", but The Andy Griffith Show

Sheriff Taylor's RP as fuck. He's cool and reasonable in the face of difficult situations, doesn't get worked up and emotional, or allow other people to manipulate him away from his goal. Always acts with justice at work and in bringing up his boy Opie, consistently shows himself to be self-disciplined and fair. Plus the comedic side-by-side with Barney Fife (panicky, emotional, easily manipulated) provides a good contrast of what it means to be an alpha male leader (Andy) vs a beta follower (Barney).

Granted, the show's set in a different time, but it consistently brings up issues like "empowered wemyn". There's a good lesson to be learned in every episode about acting like a real man, standing up for what's right. Not likely the place to look if you're just lookin for PUA tips, but if you're lookin to kill a half hour and want to learn a thing or two about acting like a man, Sheriff Taylor's not gonna steer you wrong.

King of the Hill. Hank Hill. Pretty much an endgame married man.

Keeps his shit in order. Values masculine traits, his dad a very red pill old fart dating and knocking up a woman his age. Doesn't have exceptional alpha traits but makes best with everything he's provided.

When you are not born in the top 20% you need to work harder than everyone else.

Wilfred. Stoner comedy about a guy who sees his neighbors dog as a person. Lonely beta blue pill guy (Elijah Wood) becomes uber nice guy to win the affection of his hot next door neighbor. She uses him for favors and to get him to do things for her (she knows he likes her), while she fucks her strong, alpha douche boyfriend. But that's more of a side plot. Great show tho.

Profit (1996): The protagonist is more of a dark triad. The show was pulled off the air after one season because of how "dark" it was. It it came back today, it'd be praised.

RP truths can be spotted in several sitcoms, like himym and two a half men, these truths are mostly about how terrible life is for a bp beta, Alan is a nice guy but always has a million problems, Ted is the biggest blue piller of them all, don't even bother with that show. It isn't worth seeing all the BP shit just to get through to a few RP gems that you probably already know.

The problem is finding true RP characters, because they're always accompanied with severe problems, villainous traits, and sometimes they're just portrayed as enormous idiots.

Barney Stinson for example, objectively he's a game genius, he's got the drive, he's got the money, but he's portrayed as a weirdo, his entire image in that show is that he's abnormal and he needs fixing (by a woman...), because anyone who isn't a bp beta nice guy like Ted is abnormal.../s

Charlie Harper is as RP as they come, but he's fucked up in a million ways, drugs, prostitutes, alcohol, you name it. He's portrayed as living an unhappy, empty life, even though he's got everything Alan's ever wanted, money and bitches.

Hank Moody from Californication is definetly RP, he's the coolest guy in the entire show, he get's bitches left and right. But he's suffering from severe one-itis.

Point being, every single RP character i've seen in pop culture is always flawed in one way or another. Anyone know any true RP characters?

All good shows, Two and a Halfs Charlie Harper is awesome once you can really read his lines but I was just saw Steven Segal in Under Seige last night (die hard on a ship)

Casey Ryback finds stripper Jordan Tate Miss July '89(she actually was playmate July '89 Erika Eleniak) in the captains birthday cake, attempts to stuff her into a locker but she cant stay still enough to not get caught so he says if shes going with him shes going to carry the gear. Shes lugging the gear around and says why do I have to carry all this stuff?

Blatant RP example in the blue pill as fuck show "The Office"; the Indian girl Kelly rides the carousel hard with asshole white guy Ryan until she BASHES HEAD FIRST into the wall and settles for an Indian man.

Yes, there is bullshit to make this TV/blue pill acceptable, but that's the gist.
