This is mostly for the folks who are maybe considering TRP, or new to TRP. Especially those who are in a LTR GF situation and either have been cheated on or concerned about it.
When your LTR GF relationship cheats on you it is easy to emotionally slip into her frame of mind. By cheating she took control from you. In that instant of slipping into her frame when she cheats to rationalize her actions, you lose a lot of your sense of frame - and if you've been in a LTR then you may have already sacrificed a lot of that frame for the relationship, slowly and subconsciously over time. So when she cheats it's a compounded feminine emotional shitstorm you find yourself in - amplifying your total lack of emotional control you are going to experience.
So, what happened, if you were to be in your proper frame when this happens as a man and a woman cheats on you? Rightfully so, you walk away. But, rationally, what is the contributing logic to pull yourself from that female frame to that male frame. How do you respond internally to rationalize this.
This is how it goes:
As a man, your commitment to that woman was done under the pretense that you wouldn't have sex with or pursue other women for intimacy and protect her. That is your sacrifice in the unwritten contract. In return, your woman generally satisfies your carnal urges for sex and gives you exclusive rights to her reproductive ability. She wants intimacy because she wants to feel secure in her womanhood that she can keep a man. And as a man you would want this because it's easier to get consistent pussy than hunting it down and establishing it regularly. TRP says this isn't a smart trade because the woman won't hold her end of the bargain up anyways in the long term. Hence... cheating.
For a woman, it's not the act of sticking your dick in another woman that is offensive when a man cheats. It's the perceived loss of your intimacy where she loses her sense of comfort thinking that you will abandon them. Ask most self-secure women and they will even admit if their man just told them they wanted to fuck another woman that they'd be fine with it (mileage will vary). It's in the deception that they take offense - they want to feel safe with you. For a man, sex is not an emotional investment in itself way (neurologically proven - we develop attachment other ways). But for a woman, it is - so she projects the idea that sex for a man generates an emotional investment. A hypocrisy we will get to in the next paragraphs.
But for a man, when a woman cheats, the situation is that you have sacrificed your ability to pursue other sexual chances for her. And her actions not only nullifies the agreement, but throws it in your face by having what you are not allowed to have - sex with anyone - and so easily because she simply has a vagina.
So, when a woman inevitably says, "it was just sex, it meant nothing!" - She is thinking from her frame - that "you don't have to be afraid of me leaving you and my intimacy going away, because it had no emotion behind it!" The fact is, it almost inevitably does create a hormonal emotional connection with her new lover, whether or not she means it. Read the /sex subred. You will see this constantly where woman admit to cheating and realizing they're not feeling happy with their BF anymore. And for men, deep down psychologically, we know that is how they work.
So, to a man intimacy is not what is important about the relationship agreement. A man isn't afraid of his woman's intimacy going away - he's concerned for his potential loss of opportunity for other experiences and potential woman from the commitment. He could have had sex with how many other women? That time and identity investment from a man into a woman inevitably "elevates" her onto a pedestal, because he has to justify why he wouldn't fuck x, y, and z women. "Well, she's better than them." Otherwise, the whole logic breaks down.
Most men, prefer that there WAS an emotional purpose for a woman that cheats with sex, because then it justifies that she at least has an integrity and honor in her emotion that she pursued it - and wasn't just letting someone else use her as a toy. That the "pedestal" that he constructed for her was an illogical ploy of his mind and he was completely and utterly wrong, and she really was just a sex toy all along. For a man, there is no greater sense of pain than REALIZING that you lied and deluded yourself. Rationality and logic is our FOUNDATION of our identity. Even if we're bad at it.
So, we get dragged into her frame of "the sex was meaningless" - we know that there is something inherently wrong in that logic but that we can't put our finger on it. By having been in her frame for so long and being pushed over the edge of that loss of male frame when she cheats, the 'wrongness' that a man feels is because you want to know you can trust your woman with her integrity on that pedestal you put her on and that you haven't deceived yourself - not for her intimacy she provides.
Innately as men, we see women as either "for sex" or "for commitment". And we know what kind of women we want for a commitment, and what kind we want for sex.
As a man, your exit from the pursuit "game" when you committed to her leaves you less prepared to secure more sex after you are out of the relationship as well. You didn't only invest your time, but you have a deficit in the investment to get back into the relationship scene because of your now feminized identity. Which is even more confusing and unjust in a man's mind. You have to rebuild yourself and your image, because you put yourself in HER frame while she casually walks out and gets fucked again.
So, that is why TRP endorses that you keep spinning plates. Because you don't have an opportunity loss of losing your "game". That is why TRP endorses that you keep your options open, because then you don't put her on a pedestal that elevates her above other women - so you realize that no woman stepped onto that pedestal and owes youa damn thing in her actions, you put her there and are responsible for that. And so that you realize no woman thinks like you think - and that her frame of mind is so far from your frame of mind that if you fall into the trap of her subconscious hamsters, you will lose this most basic sense of manhood.
