My own experience: I KNOW when a guy is attractive, but I don't FEEL an attraction to men.

For example, there was a picture of a rugby player with his shirt off. Had a young face, little smirk, and a ripped body. I KNOW he is attractive because those characteristics attract women, but I don't FEEL an attraction toward him. Giving credit where credit is due I suppose.

So if you're feeling the same way, it's not bisexuality, it is recognizing that another man has desirable characteristics. In any instance, trying to "dominate" is where you're fucking up. Dominating may only take place if another person is submissive- seems to me that the other dude isn't.

I find that most men don't need to dominate each other in a close social group. Your very best friends, for instance. Will there be "leader' per se, yes absolutely. Such is life. However, circumstances involving complete strangers, I feel you're confusing dominate with demonstrating your value. You will be more valuable if said attractive person sees you as an asset or a continuation of his persona.

For example, you are much more likely to be accepted into the "ladies men" group if you demonstrate you can consistently attract cute girls and aren't a douche. The wrong way to go about it is to try to lord over a group in hopes of gaining approval that way- some groups may accept this because they themselves demonstrate low value and you bring their value up, most times not.

Bro, seriously, my hat is off to you for being self aware. There's this guy on kind of the peripheral of my social circle who always gives a creepy bi vibe, but he swears he's straight. The first time I spoke with him, I learned what girls meant when they said a guy was creepy. I could care less that he's gay, but he always touches guys in my group and gives off IOIs. It's an ongoing joke. Dude should seriously just get on Grindr and get it all out.

That said, I don't know the answer, but if there was a way to tell the truth, that would probably be the best bet.

You won't get much help here. Bisexuality makes many men in this sub very uncomfortable -- not to mention some of the outright hate for anyone not 100% straight.

I blogged (2 whole posts!) about this stuff a year or so ago -- since then I've done VERY VERY well for myself (many male notches, 9 female notches). Being bi is a great way to never have a dry spell (why is there no such thing as "straight cruising"?). Typically if there's a man in the group of women I'm interested in, I'll treat him more like a "bro" who I've known for a long time -- builds rapport with him and women will respect that, even if you're slightly less dominant than he is.

And of course there's a time and place - if you're in a typical club/bar type setting, chances are dude isn't going to be into that (and even if he's curious he sure as hell won't want to explore it in front of anyone), so in these situations I tend to be more "straight". However heading out to gay/alt bars you'll have much better luck - some fag hags won't be interested in your dick at all - some very much will (oh lawd I love playing the "I'm gay, but I'm so attracted to you..." card, it works well).

TL;DR: Know your audience, and have a better idea of the kind of sexuality people around you exude than most others.

Same reason why men lose confidence around attractive women - don't be intimidated and you will not have a problem.

I think you're confused.

You either can't recognize/won't admit that you are sexually interested in men and it naturally makes you nervous to be around good-looking ones, or you're just feeling something like jealousy or insecurity around attractive and/or dominant men and have some weird hang-up about being perceived as gay or bi.
