To be fair, 20-year-old De Chiffre did not sound conciliatory in comments posted on her Facebook page.

Every so often, I see something like this and just think, how in the hell did we get to this point? As a dude who grew up in the era of Gunsmoke and Kojak, I feel like I'm living in Bizarro Land sometimes.

I wish we could post this to upworthy just for the rage it would spread across facebook. "This woman shared a forbidden kiss with a man in uniform. What happened next will restore your faith in the system".
