Nailed it. Important to note that one can use anything as an excuse.
I'm too short, women don't want me. I'm too tall, women are scared of me. I'm too skinny, I'm too buff, Sheilas hate me because I'm too smart, etc. It's a self-defense mechanism to ensure that we don't have to accept that our success or failure is a product of our own making. I'm sure there will be comments about how you "get hot white women because they want a black man" etc.
Keep fucking working mate!

Thank you! I see this a lot in people around me. Ironically I'm trying my hardest to get away from them because I do not want that toxic mindset coming back into my life.

Law 10: Infection: Avoid the Unhappy and Unlucky
I think you're doing it right!

As an older man, I applaud your viewpoint. Various groups have been trying to uncover and shut down forums like this since forever. From Carrie Nation and prohibition, to the anti-male shit on some social networking sites - people do not like young men banding together as men (unless it is in war to fight for their own interests).
You are on the right track. Better things will happen for you if you keep this mindset.
[–]lopsidedlucky 5 points6 points7 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
This is true. Spaces for men to band together are always under attack. I believe it's because people who know many men are blind want them to stay that way and know they'll wake up if they collaborate with other men without interference.
[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Exactly. It's why something like feminism is praised, yet men's rights which I'm not crazy into, but actually has it's merits, gets constantly mocked.

Im a 21 year old brotha as well. And my god man, I resonate with literally almost 100% of this post, I believe totally in creating your own destiny and treating everyone as if the glass is half full along the way...they fill or empty it.
Ive never had an interaction with the police that the media claims I will given my race after maybe 20 total in my life so far, given what i do for fun. Ive fucked mostly white chicks as well, with only a sprinkle of sistas but I dont really feel like im not "one of them" as in a black person I mean. I 100% identify with, am comfortable around and am proud of my race. The confidence i attain from this source of pride only further fuels my ability and love for connecting and collaborating with all other races on an equal basis in order to achieve the daily success's this life has stored for me and others that pursue them. Glad to hear from another brotha with a similar mental approach to this life we've been granted. Props to you my friend, you're not alone.
Lastly, I want to recommend a book. Its called "Opportunity Comes To Those Who Create It" by Charlamagne The God. A great read with some principles Ive related to and feel you would the same.
Peace!

Thank you! It's good to know there are more people like us. There is so much more to life than letting it pass us by because we are stuck in that victim mindset. I also plan on picking up Charlemagne's book because he keeps it real to me.
Good luck!
[–]batfish55 2 points3 points4 points 9 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
Awesome introspection/analysis. The victim mentality is for feminists, and if you've spotted that same tendency within black culture...man, you're already miles ahead in overcoming that shit. Never heard/read a black dude step back that far and look that hard. I'd buy you a beer if we were in the same town.
But remember something that Leykis loves to say: Your family and friends will try to keep you where you are, where they are. You leaving and/or bettering yourself is change, and change is hard for them. Even if they're living in a shitty place, your wallowing in that misery with them means they're not alone, you're suffering too.
Just...for the love of god...don't go MRA. You know who complains about the way things are and hopes that someone will fix it for them? Women. Feminists. And MRAs. I know I post a lot on MGTOW, but I'm not out there complaining about the way things are. I just can't make myself give too much of a shit. I don't know. Is red pill apathy a thing? I'm done with RP rage.
But since you brought it up...I've always been curious, especially since you're black and in the midwest...do you suppose you do ok with the white girls because their daddies were kinda racist, and daddy's little girl banging a brother would piss him off if he knew? You know, the rebellion thing.
EDIT: I'm a white male, and the family was just above the poverty line, so....no scholarships for me. Now I got student loans. But....STEM is kinda...monochromatic. Well, bi-chromatic. There were lots of Asians at my school. There must be scholarship money for you. But only if you take a major worth taking. Otherwise you're just wasting your time and life. Check that shit out.
[–]1OneRedYear 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Red pill apathy is a thing. I've had more than my share of women of all races. Like my sea faring uncle told me, they are all the same and all pink on the inside.
I never understood why people put white women on a pedestal. They are just as annoying and manipulative as the rest. Anyway after a life time of poon it's just not worth much effort. I don't hate women, I'm not interest in going very far out of my way for sex.
[–]batfish55 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Good to hear. People only talk about RP rage. Maybe it's only the young guys that talk about it? But hey, when I was in my 20s, what could have been my RP awakening (if it was a thing then) definitely did come with rage....I just don't have the anger of youth anymore.
White women? Yea, you're right, AWALT. But, meh, I like 'em pasty. And I'm a titty man. But then I do like the asian girls too, so...

You're so adventurous you sneeze on tables.
I hope you have a nice day!

Going to the white girls and racist daddies... to be honest, I'd only experienced it once and even then it didn't stop us from hooking up. I honestly think of it as a culturally thing because growing up I was involved with sports so that opened up my social circle quite a bit. As for scholarship money I've been applying and searching left to right but no success just yet.
Ah. Sports. Yea, being on the high school football team will score you some poon. That'll trump pissing off daddy any day.
No school money tho? That's a fuckin crime. Gl man.
[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I'm sorry, I know no one wants to hear this; but having handsome features or not is likely to be the biggest factor in regards to how much your race matters.
Of course some white chick will choose a hot black or Indian guy over whitey with a fucked face, why is this surprising? But equally, if you're black or Indian with a fucked face, skinny/skinny-fat and no game then why would she choose you over whitey?
That's not to say that 'Game' doesn't work of course even if you are lacking in the face, self-improvement will always up your SMV.
[–]ntvirtue 2 points3 points4 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Its never been about race its always been about culture.

Amen for running off the plantation. There truly is a self defeating mentality in the black community. The options are clear, leave the innder city/ghetto/poor areas, or wallow for life.

Lol republican speak. Some of us grew up in the suburbs like everyone else and just reflect suburban values like everyone else.

Great advice. I feel as if everyone can benefit from this because improving yourself is colorblind. Self improvement doesn't care what you are, as long as you put in the work it follows you.
[–]1empatheticapathetic 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
What do you have to claim victim about if you've never experienced racism? I've experienced it my whole life as a brown guy and finally moved to a more multi cultural place where I can start to work on my issues. You have freedom, do whatever you want, no one is stopping you apparently.

Racism is a thing, and a wrong thing. It should not be condoned or accepted. However it is also just one of many obstacles life may present you with. Being held back by family and culture is also a thing, surrendering to victimization is a thing, and these are far more dangerous than the irrational fear and hatred of strangers.
Keep going OP.

Racism is a thing but less if a thing than class and culture. I am a 37 year old black male married to a white homecoming queen with two mixed babies and an executive job in a major US city.
As I got older I started to see it more along those lines. I've been presented with great opportunities despite being.

Honestly I haven't seen any posts about "woah poor me I'm black/brown/indian/whatever here in TRP in months. Aside from ones like this calling out people who whine about not being successful due to skin color. I don't go to AskTRP much so it might be there.
There WAS a lot before but now I haven't seen any. And that's a good thing. Because there's no reason someone's skin tone should hold them back from being successful.
Couple of years back some sad Indians tried to make this place a pity party. It was annoying.

Race might not affect your game, but where you live will.
I live in India and trying to come to the west, but it will take a lot of time in the career ladder to make it happen. Till then, stuck with entitled princess bitches who flake out even before going to first date.
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
if you were a hot shot they wouldnt flake out. It's the same every-fkng-where
so work on yourself, be a hot shot, contemplate the pussies throwing themselves at you and the "cool" dudebros trying to be your friend.

The brainwashed typical beta black guy believes that they are a "victim" so they project a hostile attitude when they don't need to.
You get what you send out.
So if you are a really cool guy and send out some good Game vibes then others just naturally conform to those expectations.
I'm a white guy and can in an instant tell which black guys are trouble and who is cool.
Now I think part of this is because I had an early childhood (late teens) experience of working in a black neighborhood (Oakland near Lake Merritt during the 1970's when it actually was dangerous) and seeing the mix of really cool black guys as well as gangster thugs getting into fistfights in the streets and in the store. You gain the realization that each person has the potential for free will and some guys are smooth players and others are stupid and violent.
Statistically the stupid and violent are in higher numbers in the black community.
But we're talking maybe 2% of the wider non-black world versus 10% in the black world who are really extremely out there with violent tendencies. So the 90% of black guys that aren't out there murdering are decent folks.
The stereotypes are valid only in probabilities but that's it.
You must evalute people by the quality of their character.
And that requires good intuition... the gut feeling.
[–]1BadDayAway[S] 2 points3 points4 points 9 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
I have to say I agree with you on this. This topic itself seems to be "forbidden" among others. This truth is something that is not accepted but to other people like you and me it won't be ignored.
[–]NeoreactionSafe 2 points3 points4 points 9 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
What is true is that some people actually "pre-judge" character based on the color of someone's skin.
The white beta male assumes blacks are wonderful innocent victims and can't imagine that some really are stupid violent thugs.
On the other hand some will assume that "all blacks are criminal" and despite a black guy showing a smooth style and good Game (signs he does not base his entire existence on the physical) they will not see his true character.
The Red Pill shows the rigid, literal males of "whatever" past programming how to trust your instincts and get better at reading body language and character clues.
We're trying to be authentic in analysis...
But that might mean a bad guy gets evaluated truthfully as a bad guy which to the bad guy is a loss.
The guys we can benefit the most are those worthy of respect for their character since they get a promotion in people's eyes.
Ideally we all judge each other accurately.
[–]1OneRedYear 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Right so I should judge all whites as racist hillbillies right off the bat and stand my ground and strike first because I'm totally sure they are gonna lynch me right? Shut fuck up.
[–]NeoreactionSafe 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
How you twisted what I wrote to get there would be a great story.
What I'm saying is in line with Martin Luther King... judge people by their character.
Some black guys demonstrate a gangster type of stupidity and if you assume they are innocent you would be a fool.
Honor those guys with good Game and smooth moves.
Your assessment should be based on your gut feeling... go with your instincts.
And obviously if you can stay within your own tribe (not get into a bad situation) that's always better than mixing with other tribes.
[–]circlhat 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
If anything, I had more success with white women. I've been with a ton of white HBs ranging from 6-9s and only a small sample of black women. It is what it is.
I mainly date black women, in fact I find black women more easier to be around, but than again since a black person is over whelming at least from a statistical stand point marry another black person , I don't see how this could come as a surprise.
Your own race is the easiest to date, so no it's not it is what it is, on one hand you speak about making success for yourself but than excuse your failures with your own race as "it is what it is"
During the times I've been pulled over by the cops, I clearly deserved some sort of disciplinary action but each time I got off.
I had the same experiences , until I went to a poor inner city neighborhood I was treating like shit for no reason, they accused my girl of being a prostitute and keep us in the cold freezing weather for 30 minutes
And this was just one time, I can't imagine living around cops like that
Something I took from The Red Pill is whether you're white, black, blue, whatever, you are responsible for your own life.
You seriously needed red pill for that ?
[–]1OneRedYear 2 points3 points4 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Older black guy here. Born and raised in the burbs. I had the same experience with the police. On my side of town, no problems, when I go to work which is in the hood, I get pulled over for no reason and treated like a dangerous suspect by both black and white cops until they realize where I work. Then I get apologies. Apparently driving a nice SUV =drug dealer instead of marketing producer. I get it though. We have building lockdowns at least once a week from local crime in the area. The cops slide you right into their world view without thinking.
