This is exactly right. Obama was the first "feminist" president. Feminists found out that women ages 15 to 35 require much more expensive health care than men of the same age group. This increased cost stems mostly from the fact that women in this age group tend to have babies. For past generations, this wasn't a problem because men and women naturally shared the cost of pregnancy, child birth, and child rearing in this magical thing called "marriage." But, Feminists have destroyed the institution of marriage, they've trained and conditioned women to be utterly unmarriagable, and men have begun to catch on, so marriage rates are plummeting.

Thus, Feminists and Progressives have replaced men and marriage with the State and the forced redistribution of wealth.

This trend is going to continue: the roles traditionally played by men in our society are going to be taken over by Bureaucratic government institutions.

There is no such thing as prime career-advancement years. These are whenever you want them to be.

But there is such a thing as a prime fertility window. A women who bears children in her youth will be more "fulfilled" & less likely to slave at a job she hates. This means less profitable worker drones, which scares capitalism shitless.

As a country, we are too fucking dumb to see the real bottom line in the conflict between "Women's Rights" & "Men's Rights": to create a depressed, medicated population of obedient worker drones whose escapism is consumerism.

Rape culture, feminism, mainstream media & virtually every piece of news you've seen is programming designed to divide, demoralize and instill fear to make you turn to ...feminism, mainstream media and medication to numb the pain they created. Much like power, Feminism's only purpose is Feminism. What you all have to realize is that a certain level of IQ, willpower and independent thinking is required to see this: you can't save those lacking these things.

But the most plausible source of funding? It's Alex, the beleaguered bad guy of the tragic tale we've heard a thousand times: Boy meets girl; boy and girl fall in love, move in together and talk marriage. But as months turn to years and a ring fails to materialize, girl begins to worry that Alex is a chronic commitmentphobe. Worse, he effectively has taken an option out — at no cost — on her fertility, which is a depreciating asset. Why shouldn't he chip in for the cost of the procedure?

If there is any good news to be taken out of this, it's that it's probably also a closer step towards developing artificial wombs.

Ends up being a great marketing strategy to convince our gynocentric society to fund and develop something that whilst still prioritising female reproduction, shifts the centre of the focus from the individual woman's body to a locus external to her but still in promotion of her interests (theoretically anyway).

Other than selling artificial wombs as a means to release women from the burden of a long term and potentially painful delivery, there is no better way to advocate in a 'fem-positive' sense for them than to claim that they will help an army of screeching post-wall harpies to get what is their right.

Here is where absence of agency in feminine thinking can greatly accelerate a process ultimately detrimental to, even opposite of what was envisioned. Couldn't see it getting past the first wave or two of failed procedures across the next decades without the clamouring beginning in earnest for science to solve the little dilemma we call biology.

If it ends up being realised (the post wall dream of eternal fertility aka the artificial womb) then we will only have an acceleration of the technological and social alienation that will bring with it other spoils of war (from the male pill, to VR porn, to sexbots).

Oh glorious western civilisation, can your progress overcome the very fall and decline engendered by the same?

You can't have your cake and eat it too, feminists. Either it's morally acceptable for the government to tell you what can and can't be done with your body, and therefore for them to tell everyone where their tax money goes; or, it's reprehensible for anyone to tell you what can be done with your body, and therefore to tell anyone what to do with their money.

The whole 'reproductive rights' argument is nonsense if the set of things that fall under the 'reproductive' category doesn't extend to all property ownership. It is literally a logical contradiction to advocate both freedom to choose what to do with your body and simultaneously demand that money taken from others through taxes be used to pay for it. Yet we see this position actually be considered legitimate in mainstream discourse.

You want 'reproductive' freedom? I want economic freedom. You want to be free to do what your want with your property? I want to be free to do what I want with mine. What's the difference? Either you want the government's permission to exercise your property rights, or you don't.

This is a great PR strategy from these tech companies, but that's all it is. They are just heading off the accusations of sexism in tech, since so few women are in those fields. They can point to their good intentions and get out from the sights of the SJW's, because good intentions -- rather than results -- is what matters to SJW's. I doubt it will have any long term benefit for women or any real costs for men. Obamacare is the true and onerous financial burden for men, and it won't be repealed, ever.

Out of curiosity, how do you feel about sperm banks as well? I think that shit shouldn't be legal, if you can't have kids of your own I feel for you, but in the long run going down these routes feels very selfish to me (surrogate pregnancies, in vitro fertilisation, donating sperms, freezing eggs), when the alternative is to adopt a child in need
