EDIT: I wish I'd screenshotted the OP's post (or he could not be a faggot and delete it when he gets crushed for being an idiot) because it's a pretty textbook example of why intentionally creating dread before you even fuck a woman is almost always counterproductive.

The summary of his post: I go on first dates and ignore them afterwards. Once they contact me asking if I'm interested in the second date and I respond positively quickly, they ghost me, so make sure you're vague as fuck and seem disinterested even more before you agree to a second date. Watch out for this shit test, guyz.

It's not a shit test. You've legitimately confused the girl and she wants to know what the fuck is going on.

The hamster is NOT your friend with a girl that you haven't fucked yet and all these seemingly arbitrary ghost periods you guys are employing like it's a firearm purchase are just throwing fuel on the eventual ASD fire (assuming you ever get close to fucking her; highly unlikely that you will).

You go on a date with the girl, ignore her and then SHE has to chase YOU down for the second date, at which point you're suddenly able to talk to her and then you wonder why she ghosts you? The moment you respond, she knows you've been ignoring her, either on purpose or because you haven't been thinking about her, which tells her that you're likely just trying to "use her". That's why you find yourself trying to dance around the issue of accepting the second date too quickly; doing so automatically triggers the ASD.

Yet another reason I don't agree with "text for logistics only" except with the sluts who don't give a shit about anything except your dick either. Texting back and forth 70 times a day is definitely not the right approach, but even a mid-range, average quality girl is going to look elsewhere when being ignored and a text every other day or so costs you nothing in the end.

News flash: she also has to like you for sex and all the other fun stuff to happen. You can't go on a date and then ignore her and expect to create anything except confusion at best. Too many of you guys strut around and act like you're somehow devaluing yourself by sending a quick, fun/flirty text message/meme and then wonder why you only end up with sluts to fuck when you're horny. You're supposed to be creating a fun, tingle-inducing connection with them!

Save the ghosting as a tool for dealing with bad behavior after you've fucked them.

I usually set up the second date during the first date if I feel like it's going somewhere. I don't think waiting 2-3 days is a good strategy. If you like her then why wait?

With that said, I tend to rush things and we end up fooling around at the very least the first night. If we have sex then she's already hooked and I can basically do whatever I want.

I just want to say that girls can lose interest too if you are never available. Once in the past I tried out the so called "dread game" because I was new to TRP and wanted to experiment a little bit.

It seemed to work and I had a pretty good balance between being available and busy. I even pretended to be busy when in reality I was not. She would always ask me if I lost interest or if I am fine. I could see her losing her patience everytime I wouldn't answer.

Eventually though this got the upper hand and the girl stopped messaging me at some point. The paradox part in this story is that she was actually way out of my league back then and she was the one who pushed this all in the first place. I always saw her but was a way too shy introvert to ask for her number.

I basically bluffed this whole thing. I pretended to be way more valuable than I really was. I read the girl like an open book and was fascinated how everything I've seen on TRP just worked while I didn't even know what I was doing. All of my friends were like "What the fk are you doing? She is gonna LEAVE you if you don't show her how much you like her!".

I don't agree with this much. after a first date, usually some casual drinks I get the bill (if the night went well) and say "ill get this one, you get next." most of the time they say sure, sounds good. I'll text her later that night or the next day, say I had a good time and she'll usually mention she owes me a drink.

go wherever you want it to go from there really.

This has happened to me as well , many times. I think he is right that you shouldn't look too available when they contact you first.

I've had a number of girls contact me about the excellent time we had to then call in sick before date 2 or ghost. Another reason why I don't date online chicks anymore.

So to fix it you either try his advice or stop dating online chicks who have no value.

I've honestly always wondered about this. This only applies to cold approach scenarios, since I've almost never ran into this issue when girls are in "dating" mode - i.e. we met on a paid/unpaid dating site or app.

I've always wondered why they ghosted after the first date. Always wondered! It is so damn consistent too. And no matter how much chemistry we had on the first date (most with at least a makeout or pull without sex), they'd eventually flake.
