Another lie you hear is "marry your best friend". Bullshit. Your woman is not your best friend. She is YOUR WOMAN. That's it. People wait around for a girl that has all the same interests as them. It won't happen. Women are like kids. They don't mature much intellectually. They like their romance comedies, make up, clothes. It's what most women like to do. Let her have her hobbies and you can have yours. Relationships where both the man and the woman have the same hobbies DO NOT LAST. I can't stress this enough.

This needs more up-votes. A masculine man wants a feminine women. You should not be so similar. You have friends for a reason, you don't need to do everything with your girl. The only thing in common you need with a girl is mutual physical attraction.

This goes way beyond TRP, I think you have issues with your mom. Women have been fairly successful in careers over the last couple of decades, pay attention. Sure they like makeup and clothes, but you like going to the gym and working on cars. You can both still make good doctors or lawyers. TRP is about understanding how women think, understanding relationships, and most importantly, improving yourself; it's not just simply woman hating.

I mean , I don't think you can generalize that easily about that. Me and my boyfriend share many hobbies but we have a happy relationships and we're not "best friends", we're partners.

This is true. I waited a long time thinking I'd get a girl who's into the same stuff that I'm into. Then i realized I already have my bros to talk about all that stuff.. why do I need a girl who has the same hobbies? I have a new plate (my first ever plate btw) who doesn't share anything in common with me, yet I feel more connected to her than my ex-girlfriends. I always thought I had a problem connecting with girls when i was a beta.. I thought I just didn't have it in me.

One gentleman on Returnofkings.com said that women are worse parents than men. He (or someone else, I don't remember) also said that you can't be both a good worker and a good parent. I think both statements are bullshit but IF you agree, then do you think fathers should stay at home with children while mothers should become major (or only) bread-winners?
