Summary: Thanks to being brought up in a feminised society, men's thought patterns play out more like women's rather than a man's. Noticing these thoughts is a key step in getting past them.
Example 1: Letting the animal/bitch in your mind run wild
If you've ever procrastinated, then you know that it often feels like a more primitive part of yourself is running the show, and you can't seem to do anything to stop it. The article on Wait But Why (which is recommended reading) uses the analogy of a monkey as that part of the brain which takes over, but I think using women is more accurate.
After all, when you let the woman in your relationship take over, everything goes to shit. The monkey, like the girl, doesn't really know what makes them happy, they just do what feels good in the moment. And if you've ever suffered from any addictions, including porn addiction, then you know that these momentarily pleasures can ruin your fucking life. Letting your impulses control your life is just like letting your girlfriend control your life.
How to overcome it
Remember that as man, while we're naturally more masculine than feminine, there is still a feminine side. So before we conquer any bitch in the real world, we have to conquer the bitch that's already inside us.
In other words, YOU have to show the bitch inside you what makes her happy. And you do that through discipline, i.e. developing a way to get yourself from A to B without any bullshit. It's like when you ask a girl where she wants to eat, and she has no idea. So you take her somewhere and it's fine anyway.
Metaphorically, it's like walking out of her cage. Decide that you'll never be caged again. Then you start doing everything your way. And you do things with the best intentions for yourself. Happiness is a trickle-down economy, so everyone will be happier this way. Never let the bitch inside you decide what to do.
Example 2: Fear of committing/being good at something
This is something that I've noticed only recently, and it's the feeling of doing something too much. E.g. studying, or learning to do something, a discipline or skill etc. etc.. A voice in my head shouts "what a loser!" when I think of even trying harder sometimes and I feel like a dweeb. Of course, that's the voice of a girl shit testing me. It's just been ingrained into my mind.
How to overcome it
What bitches don’t understand is that it’s the man’s job to be on the bleeding edge, where no one has been before.
Consider all the great men in history - how did they become great? If we let the bitch in our head be the judge, they'd all be dweebs too. But of course, there's a difference between being a beta (dweeb) and alpha (a great man), the difference being the dweeb in this case is the transitional period from now to being great. It's the nature of man to become, and this takes all the effort we have. It means struggling before reaching the destination, at which point we realise the destination wasn't important in the first place. The journey was.
And so once again it’s time to ignore that bitch and do the thing that you always wanted to do, but now without any inhibitions. That's easier said than done of course, but it relates once again to discipline. Conquering ourselves comes first.
Lessons Learned
- Controlling the bitch inside you first is critical: it's the process of developing discipline
- A feminised society is bad for everyone
- Always be on the lookout for thought patterns like this, it'll save you time in the long run
