Literally an article stating that not only should women only go to prison when they murder, but even then we should SERIOUSLY take into account their past. You know, she was raped at 17 therefore her murdering someone at 36 is somehow justifiable. The author even goes so far as to say that women make up 0% of sexual offenders. You read that correctly, he claims that no women commit sexual offenses.

I am glad to see the top comment on the thread is someone stating that women already receive lesser sentences for the same crimes, but the fact that someone wrote this (and is a professor in Aus) is literally astounding to me.
