I'm in a popular destination in Thailand right now for two months where there are hot girls from Europe, US, Australia and everywhere else coming through everyday.

I wanted to give some thoughts on the different dynamics that come in to play in the SMP when almost everyone you run into is on vacation.

Let me set the table first. I'm 30, 6' 3", full head of hair, muscular frame but about 20 lbs. overweight. I'm here doing Muay Thai for 2 months (trying to get in top shape) and working on a business with a guy in town.

I was in this same town last year for two weeks and banged a Canadian and Swedish girl in that time.

I've been here for three weeks so far this year with zero success and i'd say my game overall is much better. The big difference is last year it seemed to be 2:1 girl to guy ratio when you're out at night and this year 2:1 guy to girl ratio making it ruthless competition.

So a few thoughts for anyone considering this lifestyle.

1.) Your job or career don't mean shit here. I own my own business in a field chicks love and it allows me to keep traveling as long as I want. It's a slight interest spike here but nothing like how important it is back home or when I was in Europe this summer. It's funny because I got sick of being asked "what do you do" a few minutes into every convo before and now I wish it would happen.

2.) Everyone wants to bang someone new. If a girl is from your home country or has banged someone from your home country she's much more likely to opt for something new.

3.) Everyone colludes into big groups so if you make a move and it doesn't pan out it can mess up the social dynamic.

4.) Isolation is incredibly hard. Last year when there were more chicks it was easy but this year it's really hard to talk to a girl for 10 minutes without another guy interrupting or breaking into the convo.

5.) There are no drink or dinner dates here. At least where I am most girls are 20-25 and after getting frustrated with a million guys trying to butt into my convo's I asked a girl out for a drink and she just said "people don't do that here but we can all hang out tomorrow". That's just one example/rejection but it's part of the overall vibe. This is a tough one for me because I excel at the 1 on 1 drinks date.

The basic point is that it's only about looks, game and timing. A lot of the things we do and preach on TRP to make us more interesting potential partners or mates go out the window. No chick cares here that I'm well read, own my own business and make more money than 95% of the other guys here. It boils down to whether you're hot, can avoid getting cockblocked and you can time it right.

This may sound like a rant but I made out with a hot chick from Denmark tonight who i'm seeing tomorrow.

I know travel is a big goal for a lot of guys here so I just wanted to share the difference's I've been picking up.
